Same here. Lost is on 4. 132978 Having just got back in from the match, I'd like to find out more about what's been going on on the final day of the season - not be bored senseless by the Highbury nonesense. Lost is shit too. 132991 Thats very naive of you, to think that anything is more important than having a collective orgasm over Arsenal and a group of celeb fans wanking over the team and ground! (what a hideous image that is!) As you say theres a whole day of football to be discussing and debating not wasting time stuck up their backside. 132995 Yeah, but it's not like there's been much to talk about today, has there? The league was won yonks ago, the relegated teams were decided last week, the only thing left was who qualified for what European competition. Arsenal's last game at Highbury is the biggest story of the day really. 133003 Its big to one single set of fans and can you imagine it happening if the ground closing was say Wigan or Blackburn's ground???

You're not Graeme Souness are you, he has a similar effect?

The reason for the atmosphere was ironically riley! By being such a spineless cheating little fuckwitt he got the fans angry, by letting chelsea do what they liked and the red card he got the players angry' So instead of ending with a very quiet nervous atmosphere transfering to the players it was on fire and so the players were pumped up and battled away. However riley still needs shooting with shit and never to set foot near a prem match again

I think he also startedit all off by making a great tackle near our box and coming out with the ball which ultimately lead to the corner not long after.

Yeah i think with Carr, Ramage and Taylor all having played there we will be lookingfor a CB and LB first and that is right.

Any chance to have a jizzfest over Arsenal, Henry or anything connected will always be taken, its the law!

It's all rumours tbh, but Newcastle did speak to MON. 132784 My suspicion is that Fat Fred spoke to O'Neil and for whatever reason he said no, or i don't know and Fred instead of then going after a top manager from around europe (or a dirty foreigner as him And Oliver would call them!) has just went for Roeder. I wouldn't be in the least surprised if O'Neil felt Shearer was going to be an interference at some point and that he wasn't happy about conditions of getting the job, but as said before we don't know this. Roeder is far from the wrost option and will i feel do a decent job, but you just know Shepherd has done fuck all to go and get the best because most of them wouldn't be English and therfore couldn't "have a feel for the club" or "understand the fans and the area" etc. fill in your own cliched bullshit.

Love to have him here but we'd be far from first in a very big queue to sign him, He's proven as one of the best goal scorers at every level possible and will go to another very top team i'm sure.
-
He's been good for a long while now but fans like the lazy media stick with the sterotypical image of him ignoring what he actually does. And when he has the right partner (which Moore seems to have been) he is an asset. Next season we need Titus, Taylor, Moore and another CB signed in place of Boumsong.

Great effort from the team to get the win we needed. And once again Riley showed himself to be the fucking little weasel he is, the man is a waste of oxygen. How he didn't book their player for the foul on Zog 1st half defies belief, and he spent the rest of the game regularly booking our players, doing fuck all to theirs. He on at least 3 occasions stood and watched their wall ignore his instructions and did fuck all. Followed by continually allowing their arsehole players to surround him and whinge and tell him what decisions to make, but he was too gutless to book them and then made his decisions based on their reactions. He is the epitome of the english ref who is so far up the arse of the top 3-4 teams he will give them everything. He doesn't have the record for giving manu penalties at Old Trafford for nothing.

If a ton of feathers landed on your head...
Papa Lazaru replied to Dr Kenneth Noisewater's topic in General Chat
Would depend how high it was dropped from i imagine. If it was from a massive height the featherswould start to float down seperately and spread out and you'd be hit by a much lighter weight than the full ton. From just above you it may be heavy enough to kill you and if not you'd suffocate from being burried in a ton of feathers!!! -
Completely disgaree with that part. There's no way that Heskey should be in the England squad now, but back in his day there really were very few who were any better. His peak was at a time when options were very few. 132513 There were always better options than a striker who couldn't score (the only goals he got were in large wins after the job was done), who was big but spent half his time falling to the ground and who offered nothing other than working hard for the team. He wasn't ever good enough so why not try out some other strikers and give a few younger lads a shot 132522 He always performed quite well for England tbh 132534 I think he was invariably poor, except for the odd game where he stayed on his feet and roughed up a couple of defences allowing other players to benefit. But if thats all he offered, Shearer could have come out of retirement and done that, with the added bonus of him still being capable of hitting the target if he got into position!
-
Yeah its Oliver who is the prick. Clarkie just loves the club and was ecstatic to get a chance to return and actually play for us again, and he'd love to work with the club in ome capacity. Whereas Oliver, and more worryingly Fat Fred seem to have this obbsession with ignoring any decent candidate on the basis they're foriegn, and not geordies or people who understand the club"
-
That's my feeling too. 132512 Yeah i can't see excessive spending, though i'm sure we'll find some money, we have to. But it will be good if we can get something close to decent money for a few players who we suspect are on their way out! But whatever we have to spend, we really have to buy 2 strikers, a LB and i think most people want a CB, and we would also have to replace people leaving and our squad is already on the small side.

Its genuinely disturbing that you can't dismiss the Heskey story as just paper talk, you actually believe Sven might do it and that is a disgrace! The idea we have a manager who would give Heskey 1 England cap would be a concern, the idea we have one who gave him about 40 should keep you awake at night! At his peak Heskey shouldn't have been close to the England team, now that by his own standards he's playign shite he shouldn't be near Birminghams reserves never mind England!
-
And i think the mackems would be quite keen to use the tactic of breaking their first choice keepers arm to get a replacement in!
-
And originally Sly wanted it to end with him scoring the winner, but they said that wouldn't happen, or so the story goes. Anyway whilst people may say its not saying much, its the second best footy film behind the excellent Shaolin Soccer, all the others i've seen are invariably shite!
-
No doubt piss the smogs off that they've helped us! And now its up to us, you can't ask for anymore than having it in your own hands going into the last match.
-
Classic from Boris there, instead of a tackle just headbutt the bloke in the knackers!!!
-
He's English of course!!! Shame that I thought this appointment was about being England coach, the way some fans and the press have been going on you'd think he was going for the leader of the BNP. 131302 Alladyce is English as well, and a better manager than McClaren 131339 True, but it would be quite funny to see him miss out after he's practically begged for it in countless interviews
-
I think the smogs were always going to do a bit better than people thought. It may be in part a reserve side but young players who are up for it and maybe some playing for a chance to start in the final and with Bolton feelign the pressure, its not easy for them!
-
We even got a disputed "over the line" decision, and to be fair it was close, only about 2 feet over the line!!! Its time to get Boris Johnson on i think!
