Official Man City V Newcastle United thread

I seriously think nothing will happen this season, which makes me think we could well be playing Championship football next season - that happens and I totally blame Shepherd, and I don't give a fuck how much Leazes will protest! 87522 The day Fat fred appointed Souness he lost any right to be defended as anythign other than a moron, the fact he then didn't sack him at the end of lasts eason meant he was beyond morin and into fuckwitt terriotry, and after what he's left us to endure this season he's just a big, fat cunt. Shepherd is the top man, he employed and kept souness on, he takes the blame, and that is a fact. -

Depends if Sheff United and Reading get promotion tbh. There aren't that many good teams in the Championship. Oh, you mean this year 87511 Its funny because its true! Souness till the end of the season could easilly see relegation, Souness kicked out now and i have no worries at all that we'll be safe. And to think there were people who thought this season would go well, what were they watching all of last season!!! -
Its a disgrace, they even employed such sneaky, underhand things like "tactics", "formations", "organisation", "gameplans" and tried to score "goals", well i mean how is Souness expected to counteract that!

No, i don't believe that at all. They have Bellamy at the club and with that "cancer" there they can have no team spirit and will be shite, Sounes said so! Blackburn then and now and NUFC then and now are the best examples of how much of a fucking twat Souness truly is, especially when you factor in that Hughes isn't a great manager. -

Beagrie commentating on the game is shock, horror actually doing his job instead of the usual Souness arse kissing. He's pointed out we're clueless, formationless, don't know what we're doing and our like schoolboys and said you can't hide behind it when asked about Souness. Fair play to him, its about time people in the meida did their job and stuck to facts not bullshit. We are a complete joke now and if he isn't sacked on the spot after tonight Fat fred should be castrated and will eb proving he doesn't give a flying fuck about this club and shouldn't be defended by anyone. -

Ah so by Souness' standards its all out attack then! Nothign works better than leaving Big Al and all his pace/movemene stranded on his own. The man's a tactical genius!!! -

Sounds about right for Souness, ie' its incredibly fucking stupid. We all know what'll happen after this latest humiliation of our club though. Fat Fuck will think, well we have just had an amazing 2-0 win in the cup, then this defeat, then we'll scrape something against Pompey and everything will continue as normal. -

Whats needed is more demonstrations that involve Fat Fred being trapped by extremely anrgy toon fans until the fat fucker does his job and kicks souness out on his arse. -

Give him time...injuries...bad luck...proper players...refrees...injuries...cares about his family...the pitch...getting the best from the players...most attacking manager we've ever had...100% effort...injuries...team spirit...we were the better team...injuries... (repeat until you feel the need to kick the living shit out of him) -

Plan A was 'Frustrate the crowd', as is plan's C through F and finally plan G is try and score a goal...obviously we've never got as far as plan G but its there for some day in the future. How Shepherd can allow this farce to go on is beyond any sane individual, every fucking game is the same as the last. Cluesless, tacticless, dull negative football with no width, creativity and people out of position. Go 1-0 down and its game over, we all know it, the players clearly know it and Souness doing his usual hide in the dugout act and offer nothing to the team whatsoever knows it. But we don't need to worry about relegation or watching the shittest football in the prem, since he kicked out all the trouble makers and got the "best team spirit ever" and a load of "proper" players and what more could we want! -

To be fair though, Souness tells him to play in the middle of the pitch most of the game, so he may as well pick a central midfielder for the right wing position! We can't go around stupidly playing with width, i mean where would that get us and its not like Shearer thrives on crosses or anything! -
Top right tbh 87117 Is there any chance of Gemmill getting them to reunite for a half time performance at the next home match?
-
Typical NUFC that we have narrowed the specifics of his injury down to a mere difference of 6 bloody weeks! Owens injury does highlight how much Sounes has made us rely on a player who's hardly been here that long. In fact Souness is so shite we were relying on Owen several months before we even thought of signing him! As Isegrim said though, in the past we weren't as good when certain players were out injured (nobody is), but we had a team, tactics, actually created and scored goals and could at the very least get by without these players.

I think you meant to say my usual accurate and correct observation about how his lyrics are piss poor and could be written by any moron. I could also start on the fact he is perhaps the worst rapper in music and is a complete prick for using a mockney accent to make himself sound hard if you want 87308 then why oh why didn't you or I write them lyrics and become rich ........... 87311 The one thing i will say in his favour is he makes money out of this shite, you can't knock him there! The reasons i didn't do it. Firstly i couldn't in all seriousness get up and perform such utter bollocks that i can't stand lyrically and musically, and secondly i'd be almost as bad as him at rapping, i have no doubt!

Thats harsh, comparing them to something that shite! But as Lucky Pierre said, the Streets lyrics are apparently the work of somebody akin to a shakespeare and Wilde reborn into one mind instead of actually being the mindless drivel any 13 year old charva could produce.

Though to be serious its something that has always annoyed me about many of the fans at St. James. Where week after week they see the "winger" cutting inside and playing half the time in the middle of the pitch and they blame the player! It isn't rocket science to realise the manager is telling them to do it, because if they were going against orders they would be told at half time and if they continued they'd be subbed. If they keep doing it every game then you can safely assume its part of the managers tactics as if it wasn't they'd be dropped or stop doing it. As for Dyer if he genuinely gets back to fitness and stays fit he will make a massive difference to the team because his pace and direct running will counteract some of the truly awful football and tactics employed by our fuckwitt manager.
-
That's how I feel. 86603 Me too, for two reasons. One we need team around us to lose points to be safe and two, it would be funny to see the smogs lose twice to the mackems and possibly be relegated!
-
I've got to the stage now (after about 22 years of supporting NUFC) where i honestly don't think i'll ever see us win a trophy. When we're shite you don't expect any, but when we are anythign from good, to amazing (under Keegan) you know that we will be hit with shite luck, shafted by a ref and/or linseman or will get hammered with injuries at the wort possible time and we won't win what we should. So i suppose i don't seriously have any hope of us winning the FA cup and if we went out i'm not going to be thinking that a genuine chance to win it has gone, however thats not the same as wanting us to lose!
-
Agree completely, Fat Fred has left him the luxury of continuing to fuck the club up on full pay or get sacked and take a massive "reward" for fucking the club up, it defies belief! And it is noticeable how frequently he's mentioning his family these days, i suppose it makes a change from him mentioning "team spirit" and "proper players/men" ad infinitum!!!
-
I didn't read the article, it sounded dull but another reason Spain can get alot of the best players is the weather and language are attractive to South American players who'd understandably find that a better option than say England.
-
We've already had the argument about Owen, you think he's Bellamy's replacement, me, Fat Fred, Shearer, Souness and Owen himself think he's Shearer's replacement, but we won't go there again The texting thing, like so many of the "training ground" style rumours, stories and reports we here, i have no way of knowing. He may have texted him, he may not have, it may have been offensive it may have been joking/sarcastic. He may have done it and still think its funny, he may have and regretted/apologised for it, who knows as we aren't there and can't believe the people we get the info from. I genuinely have no idea what happened there. But i can see why you would lose respect for him, i just think the whole Bellamy/Souness thing is a perfect example of everything that is so wrong with Souness that peopel will keep going back to it until he finally gets kicked out...though of course if Bellamy then stars for Blackburn and wins the odd trophy i'm sure it will keep coming back now and then!!!
-
You can see what might happen. We scrape past Saints with another typically awful Souness performance or maybe even a comfotable win thanks to individuals hiding our total lack of gameplan/formation/tactics. Then we get another decent raw in the quarters and find ourselves in the semis somehow, all the while Fat Fred being a moron thinks this excuses all he shit we are watching and how the club is being wrecked and when we meet somebody decent we get knocked out and realise we're still shite! But no matter how mad it sounds, i do think you'll probably see us sneak into the semis despite how shite Souness is.
-
Just proves what a prick he is, not that he needed to prove that mind! After all the shit he's got up to and the stick the club have taken, they stuck by him, defended him, helped him "rehabilitate" himself and offered him twice the money he was earning and he does that to them, what a complete cock.
-
I doubt the Bellamy issue will go away until Souness fucks off because it encapsulates so many of the things wrong with Souness in his time here: He came here already against Bellamy and determined to use him to prove he was a hard man Bellamy was comfortably our best (or at the very least form) player yet Souness couldn't see this He bottled dropping either Shearer/Kluivert the big name players and instead played all 3, shifted Bellamy out wide or similar He got involved in a stupid argument/fight with Bellamy (neither blameless mind) He spread a load of bullshit about Bellamy being a cancer and practically solely responsible for any problems at the club He spread more bullshit about the morale/dressing room/team spirit then being great when it patently isn't He put his own ego and selfish personality ahead of NUFC by kicking Bellamy out instead of doing what Mourinho did when Carvallo (or whoever it was) stepped out of line, where Jose disciplined him, dumped him out the team but ultimately brought him back as that was best for the club He slated Bellamy as incapable of getting more than 7 (or possibly 9) goals a season...wrong, and said Shola would get 20...wrong, so wrong! He ripped him apart in the media guarenteeing we got nowhere near his value He continued to petulently whinge and slag him off after he was gone instead of acting like an adult He didn't replace him And his bollocks about Bellamy doesn't fit with any of his other managers who all managed to not get to a stand off with him, who all wanted him in their team and still would. It doesn't fit with all the toon players who in interviews stuck for him as a player and a person (other than perhaps Shearer and Souness cronies doing his propaganda) Even John Carver who was involved in that incident speaks up for him and would still have him here etc. etc. etc. Anyway, that's why it won't go away
