Me Earlier It's a very, very good follow up. I hope the rest of the album follows a very similar pattern. They're playing loads of really small gigs up here in May and i've missed the chance to go and see them all through my sheer laziness. Canny gutted like Yeh man ive seen them 11 times, from playing to 90 people in the Cluny to like 10's of thousands at leeds fest and everywhere in between, so im happy they are still writing awesome new material as peers such as the futureheads didnt deliver with the 2nd album. I quite liked The Futureheads second album. Nothing groundbreaking or massively different but there were a few good tracks on it.

Once again Washington defies all predictions and we managed to get a pissy little amount last night. I bet we get Sahara like temps tomorrow while the rest of the UK is snowed in.

Was that meant to be proof or how genuine they are? Well they sing about drugs. So err.. Yeh. Id say so Err....ok. Barry White sang about shagging birds, but if I'd met him and his opening line was "Know any lasses I can fuck?", "genuine" wouldn't have been the first word that sprang to mind. 'Piss Poor Judge of Character' would've been mine. What would he be doing asking you about easy lasses?

hmmm let me see now..... ermmm no I'll pass ta, anyways Bloc Partys album is also out today so not comparison tbh. so I'll download Bloc Party today Not a patch on Silent Alarm Not sure about that, I mean it took a bit of getting into but some of it is easily as good as the previous album. Give it a while, it's a grower in my opinion, but then so was Silent Alarm for me. Exactly the same with me. I downloaded it yonks ago and wasn't too impressed but after a few listens it began to sound better and better. I bought it today through sheer guilt and I was fucking astonished that I hadn't liked it first time round. There are one or two tracks that aren't up to much, just like Silent Alarm but songs like Hunting For Witches, The Prayer and Sunday are easily up there with the best of their previous.

Barton used to strike me as a bit of a twat but recently he's been brilliant both on and off the pitch. He was spot on about the books so I don't see why Lampard is spitting the dummy out.

Bloc Party - A Weekend In The City Had it for a month or so on download but I decided to buy it. The lyrics are a bit naff but its still a great album. I don't know why people are slating it.

It stopped being funny about four years ago. Like you said now every joke is repeated time and time again (Dance Off, Tubes' Question, Topless Weather, 'Local' News, Boston Goals etc.). It needs to go back to the days of the Wenger Boys, Steve and Jonty's Sunday League Soccer and get guest on that actually matter. It's became everything that it was against in the early days. Oh, and Lovejoy has always been and always will be a nonce of the highest order. EDIT: Is it me or is Barry the most unfunny thing on tele? The character was mildly amusing when he was throwing insults at the fans but this little sitcom is just rubbish.
