TBH, I thought that Moore was overated. He was a good player but that was all. Everybody keeps going on about how he read a game so he didn't need to be fast. What they actually mean is that he had no pace at all. His legend owes much to that fact that he was a cockney playing with the team that everybody thinks plays attractive football and he was the darling of the southern hacks. If he played for a northern team he wouldn't be idolised by the cockney b******s. In terms of ability, pace, flair, charisma Moore couldn't hold a candle to George Best.

I haven't got the faintest idea what Luque is like. Clearly, no top team wanted to touch Bellamy with a barge pole, Robert is making a fool of himself and winning no friends as usual, and fat pat is doing what he does best...not much of anything. And Bernard? Shite at the 'Gers according to my mates who watch them so he's in a downward spiral with only himself to blame. Bunch of tossers really even if Bellamy is a good player.

He's filled in for manure in the back four and whilst he may not be the best central defender in the world, it doesn't take much to be better than than either boumsong or bumble the way they are playing. I'd like to see Keane at the Toon but doubt if he'd come as he's a left footer headed up to celtic. I'd love to see the bollocking he'd give the likes of bumble and ameobi though. It would be priceless.

There's more chance of boumsong staying upright for 90 minutes than ameobi having a good game as he isn't due another one until about 2007.

I'd like to see them in the premier league and think it'll happen. Mainly because there is no doubt that these two teams will boost attendances and that's a good thing for Sky who seem to dictate everything these days. Aside from that I wouldn't mind seeing the Toon playing them regularly in competitive games as trhere is no doubt that they'd be able to improve the quality of their teams with the extra revenue. it'll also be a good thing to remove the monopoly from Scottish football making it more competitive.

The difference is that I am willing to give him a chance. FS has bought the players he wants so it's up to him to show he can do it. If not, he's out the door.
