  1. Sure, but I think rather than pay a fuck ton for Vardy, lets just sign someone younger.
  2. We're going to be playing further up the pitch, so not be looking to hit them on the counter as much.
  3. Doesn't scan with how we're going to play.
  4. I already have speakers though, so...
  5. fuck, it's going to take me forever to type all that out
  6. That's going off current squad, surely. If Fofana leaves then they have Evans who, with the best will in the world, isn't the player he was. If Maddison leaves they'll drop down further, Vardy goes and they're bankaxed It's not what they have, it's who they know.
  7. That would be hilarious. If the players mentioned were to leave, Leicester would clear £250m income for this window, I reckon.
  8. No, surely more going on. They've got space to do deals. They're talking about a squad with too many, well paid, fringe players who're proving difficult to move on. Leicester don't want to sell any of the player I mentioned above, but they can't shift the dross. Honestly, I think after Fofana and Schmeichel are definitely going. Tielemans is next most likely, depending on the asking price and interested parties. He only has 1 year left on his deal (c£120k pw) so would be easier to get for a reasonable price than Maddison. However Maddison will be the more attractive target.
  9. Dunno if this is the right thread, but I guess you're all audiophiles. I want an amp to live between the turntable and the speakers. Any recommendations that won't break the bank?
  10. Something must be going at Leicester if Schemichel, Tielemans, Fofana, Maddison are all looking to move on.
  11. They'll be after a 'keeper, but I'm not sure if their valuation of Maddison is £60m they'd accept £40m + Dubravka. They could definitely get a good 'keeper for <£20m.
  12. "No. What else've you got?" they'll want £60m+ and the substantial portion of it up front.
  13. Is that just because he's white?! Maddison would be a great signing. So would Diaby. Or Sesko. 4 weeks left Gloomy.
  14. Botman and Pope are statement signings. We have to be realistic and appreciate that clubs will ask for the moon on a stick from us, and that our new professionally run club won't do that. Trust the process.
  15. Wilson has great movement in the box and isn't a slouch off the last defender's shoulder. You add Anderson, ASM, Bruno, Trippier to that mix and there are plenty of attacking players who would benefit from Maddison's style of play. Plus Sesko.
  16. It is frustrating, but the new restrictions, a post-COVID football landscape, the delay in getting DoF and CEO positions filled, our transfer strategy vs our perceived wealth... This was always going to be a difficult window. As they will be for the foreseeable.
  17. The world is terrible wykiki, the trick is just being ok with that.
  18. And say we're 10th in January, we see that there's the potential to break into the European spots if we fill the missing piece of the puzzle. Suddenly Maddison has 18 months left on his deal, Leicester are struggling in 15th, we go back in with a £40m bid. Boom, Maddison, Europe and blowjobs from hot Slavic girls in your area.
  19. We can, just not these pissy pants "What if the world was terrible and everything was awful, would you be happy then?" questions.
  20. Yeah I'd love to see a striker come in. I think we could afford both. I don't believe for a second that if we fail in our bid for Maddison we'll shut up shop and go home. If anything, our pursuit of Maddison says we're not done, not by a long shot.
  21. It's not that we can't spunk a shit ton of money on whomever we want, it's just that it makes more sense to keep that wriggle room for when it's needed. It's not needed right now.
  22. Sure, but you don't start at £50m, because if you do, Leicester will demand £60m. And if we had offered £60m, it'd be £70m.
