  1. should be ashamed. ASHAMED I SAY!!!
  2. Don't you find yourself listening to the same tunes for ages? the best way to listen through your iPod; shuffle the tunes.
  3. I can't be the only one who occassionally becomes a little obsessed with the creation of Playlists.. just curious to compare the playlists of the differing musical tastes on here. and no it's not simply an opportunity for alex and Gemmil to mock and revile others musical tastes.
  4. in the post you quoted I made no mention of the Metro, so if you can't make the quantum leap from discussing one method of pikey transport to another, then you're a lesser man than I gave you credit for. Round 3 to me to be honest
  5. and if you troll further back you'll see that I used both the bus AND the Metro. I made comment about the scummers on the bus AND seperately the scummers on the Metro. you're both planks to be quite frank.
  6. I don't think I'm alone in saying.... "Quoi?" I think you've confused yourself there pal
  7. .... as they should do. anyway if they don't buy a ticket for the metro it's unlikely they're first in line to pay their taxes.
  8. not snobby, just don't particularly enjoy spending any amount of time with people that I'd happily forced feed to a rabid chimp. oh, did I mention Goths.... they annoy me.
  9. the traffic is a nightmare at times, but I'd still swap the horrors of public transport for a traffic jam any day of the week. plus you're more relaxed in your car, you can really enjoy pungent farts, sing loudly along to tunes that normally you'd be too embarrassed to even mime and of course the glory that is watching the plebs standing in the pissing rain waiting for a bus that's ten minutes late.
  10. the Metro is like Rock Pooling, the sheer volume of nasty little creatures is staggering. hate the bus and the metro, either the chavs, the school kids (which can be the chav or non-chav flavour), the old biddies that smell of piss and digestive biscuits, the drunks and of course the extortionate price of it all. Spent the best part of a fiver just to get into Newcastle today. £1.70 to Whitley bay, then £2.60 to Haymarket. Bloody rip off.
  11. Gemmil liked Souness, Souness screwed up and dragged the club into mediochrity I liked Robert, Robert provided width, penetration, goals and assists. Gemmil is a rubbish judge of character and I'm a Soopafan. Fact. (and HTL, the bits in bold are still true, so imagine what he could have done if he had found consistency..... maybe... just maybe... he could have convinced these neanderthal fans that it's not all about the dour drudgery that they apparently vaunt. )
  12. massive shame that he couldn't find consistency, had the vision and talent to be an exceptional footballer. will always have a soft spot for the lad, he scored some belting goals and no matter what anyone says about his work ethic, he did provide more goals and assists than any other left winger at Newcastle in the last 15 years or so. the two against Tottenham will live long in my memory.
  13. how long before that's a movie? pretty cool though.
  14. fucking hate that skinny prick. but enough about the host of the NME awards, Pete Doherty excited me when I first heard the Libertine stuff, but now I've absolutely no time for him or his music. I remember watching a documentary about some fat loser that stalked the lad for a while and although the guy making the film was revealed to be an utter twat himself, Pete did himself no favours. He just seems to get wasted sing badly and be hailed as a visionary performer. bollocks, he's a wanker that got famous, believed his hype and rides the tabloid wave like every other gobshite that bought into the culture of celebrity.
  15. Atrocity- Biffy Clyro (Is it just me or does this band's name sound like it should be the moniker for an American Football star?)
  16. MSN is only annoying if you let idiots have your address, I find that a decent away message usually sorts the wheat from the chaff

    Newbie!

is it? I thought ay were both just being edited by another mod.... you you mamooshka mamooshka mamooshka you you ....
  19. instead it was a petulant bitchy whiney type thread.... shame, Lou's threads are generally interesting for at least thirty seconds, this barely piqued my attention at all. it's the whole "Dyer is a cunt" thing.. it's a bit old hat, especially when those defaming the guy are the same that defend Bowyer to the hilt. double standards me thinks.
  20. I gotta agree with alex, if we'd had the foresight to wait for the perfect manager instead of one that would suffice, the KK to Robson switch would have reaped massive benefits for our club. I truly believe that under Keegan we'd acheived that which is unthinkable now, we were truly challengers for the title. A couple of shrewd signings would have found us as a genuine contender, unfortunately KD came in and destroyed the first team. the initial point of this thread was Robsons team. I have to say that I think that the players mentioned made our side a helluva lot better than what we wendured before Robsons tenure and certainly some of the dross we've put up with after he was let go. Jenas was poor but clearly has talent. Bellamy I cannot think of a real football reason to get rid of him. Personality clashes are to be expected in such a high pressure job, the trick is managing the egos of contributary forces in the squad and losing those that offer nothing. Bellamy was imo too important to the team to get rid of so cheaply. Bernard, I understand he dug his own grave, but I'd imagine that was more the remit of his agent than any real desire by the lad to screw us over. Robert, big fan of his, but he just didn't do what he could often enough, and I'm man enough to admit his time came and went. Woodgate was the best centre half I've ever seen at Newcastle, just a shame his fitness was as suspect as Sholas shooting. but, Parker and Emre are a better central midfield than Speed and Jenas, N'Zogbia is a player of genuine potential and has that rare gift from a french winger; application.
  21. how very dare you we only talked about hats for... a page and a half or so!
  22. meh, I can live with that. for the record I think Rob W is an Oil-related engineer (I didn't want to use the word expert in case finally the sides of his his head gave way and the ego just came a-rolling out, devouring all before it... like The Blob)
  23. changed the buttons and my computer restarted....
