There's talk of a second series, which is a misstep imo. The Shogun series showed there's a real appetite for well written, well acted (for the most part) historical dramas. That doesn't mean that there needs to be more of the same.

Don't know enough about them, but Bordeaux is a big city, with a huge area to pull talent from. Buy it on the cheap (or set up a brand new team), spend a stack of cash on the academy, use the EU membership to bring in players who might struggle to get a UK visa straight away.

Had similar last year. Just managed to sit down and unpack everything when the announcement came. Repacked all my stuff and weighed up the options (genuinely considered getting a flight back). Ended up getting what seemed like the last seat on a packed train to Sheffield. Plan was to get the 22:30 train back to Manchester from there. 10 minutes from Sheffield and an announcement comes that all trains to Manchester are cancelled. Had to get an Uber back home from Sheffield on the company dime. Let a lass share the trip because otherwise she'd be stranded, after suggesting she share the license plate, eta and all that.
