  1. No wonder you don't have time for fact checking with the lifestyle you lead.
  2. Isn't that a treatment for piles? I didn't know that's what you used Pimms for.
  3. Don't worry sweetie, I'm sure you'll be keeping them in business for many years yet.
  4. Of course he's not alright. It's bad enough he started a thread saying Dummett's contract is up, but now he's found out that English Tapas is already being done and people are taking the piss out of it. If they stop making Pimms he'll be on suicide watch!
  5. Aye he needs to close down that twitter account sharpish. It's harming his game big style.
  6. Thought Craig Hope was a MLF. He always seems to be positive about them.
  7. I don't think you have to worry about their brains.
  8. I hope this is more accurate than the shite Fish is posting.
  9. He had one fucking job. Someone get Christmas Tree back so we can restore some sense to this place.
  10. It's this kind of slap dash thread starting that's sending this place right down the drain.
  11. It's called fact checking Dave.
  12. Would he go for nothing as he came through the academy? Personally I think he's clearly not up to the premier league even as back up. The fact that he's been ok in the championship alongside players who are too good for this league doesn't change anything for me. If we go up we need a new left back as things stand. After more games Lazaar might show that he's good enough but he's yet to convince. Maybe given the fact that his contract has years left on it, we should keep him as the backup and look for another first choice? I don't buy the centreback thing for Dummett either. He's played there a handful of times and didn't look as totally out of depth as he did in his preferred position on those few occasions. But that doesn't to me mean he has any long term future there. He certainly never looked as good as Lascelles, Mbemba or Clark there. The only argument to keep him imo is that he's cheap and not any bother. But no one would actually want him in the team. Our backup should be (as it is in most positions this season) someone who you think could challenge for a starting berth. It's a shame, because it's nice to see local lads come through the ranks a really make it, but he cannot push for a starting berth in the premier league unless we want to go back to the previous two or three seasons.
  13. Aye I thought he'd be gone with the likes of squidward and marvaux but I was never worried about him staying
  14. The kid tries but he'll never be a premier league player and the way he got rinsed at Fulham first game it wasn't looking like he'd be a championship player either. But despite the limitations that he's always going to have, he's adequate at this level, especially when he's playing alongside some of the best players in the division. I always thought Gouffran could be useful in this division. We've seen him have a spell when he was more than useful in the premier league so it made sense to me that he be able to do something in this division. I never thought he'd be as important as he has been though.
  15. My father has said a few times that he doesn't care what a teams record against the rest of the league is like, because playing the rest of the league isn't the same as playing us. While that can come accross as arrogant, I think it's pretty much spot on. Birmingham had been playing well but we completely outclassed them on Saturday.
  16. The ref was actually fucking hopeless as well. I've yet to see a single ref in this league who's remotely competent. I reckon they could take any Sunday morning ref and he wouldn't be any worse than these mongs. We were excellent though. It really did look like men against boys. It was exactly what I thought (and predicted) it would be like with exception being that Diame played by far his best game. He did that (imo) by playing more like a midfielder, looking to get the ball in deeper and wider positions rather than trying to play as a second striker. Shelvey, Gayle and Clark were also all very good. Dummett is also looking like proving me wrong. I thought he'd have to drop down much further to find his level but he seems to have found it in this division.
  17. Which idiots said 400 was a good score? Didn't see any of Indias batting this morning but regardless of any arguments about our selection, going off yesterday alone, they've batted really well and Ashwin and Jadeja were just miles better than our spinners.
  18. He's unbelievable in these conditions certainly. Didn't do much over here though did he? Australian commentators seem to go just as overboard on Smith.
  19. I'll try and watch it over the weekend and report back then.
  20. Never seen that. I've been meaning to watch it for ages so this might be a good time.
