Very true but putting the whole squad up for sale means we look absolutely desperate and will get a lot less than their true worth and the fat cunt will pocket all of the money so we will not only have to buy a new team but we won't have the funds to do it. This is a fucking desperate situation which ever way you look at it.

Lifeboat 7.5/10 - Relatively forgotten gem from Hitchcock. The Awfull Truth 9/10 - Another classic screwball comedy from Cary Grant. Taken 7.5/10 - Just what I fancied watching last night, an action film where you can leave your brain at the door or pop out for ten minutes in middle and not lose track of what's going on. Surprisingly Neeson kicks arse!

As far as I can see there is absolutely no logical business reason to do this. All I can come up with is that Ashley and co are struggling to find two brain cells to rub together today or it's a wind up (either part of his grand scheme or by someone else within the club or hacking in to the website). The more I think about it the more ridiculous it seems.

Ashley seriously must be a makem or be under the employ of Shepherd to try and make him look better (something he is succeeding at fantastically well).

Don't worry there's still time for Ashley to take us into administration and flog Bassong and Beye to the makems.

Still haven't seen either T1 or T2! But downloaded them again and might go for a double bill some time real soon! How could you have got this far in your life without seeing two of the greatest films ever?

Raising Cain. 5/10 - A canny film let down by a totally unbelievable ending. I Walked With A Zombie 6/10 - Canny enough saturday afternoon film. 3.10 To Yuma 7.5/10 - Not sure it's as good as the original but still a very entertaining western with to strong lead performances.

I still don't see how we are suddenly in a shit load of trouble. Yes the income is massively lowered now we have been relegated but we aren't suddenly £50m out of pocket. The reduced income must surely come in stages and in the meantime we will be still bringing in some money (and at this stage not massively less than before especially considering the number of people who have paid for tickets in advance). And we now (or very shortly) won't be paying the wages of Owen, Viduka, Shearer, Dowie, Edgar, Lovenkrands etc. That much saving along with the parachute must be enough to allow us to pay any debts even without Ashely putting anything in. As far as I know nothing has ever been said that we weren't a going concern without Ashley's input.

I didn't think that was ever in any doubt. But surely the club should still be generating (and already have) generated enough to keep us going in the short term without anything from him? There was never any talk in the past that we needed hand outs just to keep ticking over. Player purchases will obviously be a problem but I wouldn't think it should be panic stations.

Dodsworth 8/10. Classic Hollywood The Green Man 8/10. Alastair Sim as an assasain. How can you not love that?

I'd be amazed getting 2.5m for him tbh. He's been nothing but an unqualified flop since he arrived. I'd go along with Matt and even reduce the fee to just completely get him off the wage bill.

Depending on his wages I would be inclined to keep him if we can. He's not great by any means but he has pace and a reasonable eye for goal which could be usefull in the fizzy pop league.

Roger Ebert thinks it's one of the greatest films made. Little Children - Kate Winslet's chebs and Jennifer Connolly's arse. Champion. Not quite so sucessfull in terms of acting, special effects and direction though Rog. A relative of mine raved about it too but I coudln't see it myself. I actually recorded it off sky a couple of months ago and it took me ages to watch it as I kept falling asleep.

I've never read any of Kings work but Stand By Me is a fantastic film (although it's based on a short story rather than a book. Which of course is the same as Shawshank). The Mist is more King is it not? Pretty enjoyable film. I agree with what Billy is saying about The Running Man. It's technically not as good as The Shining but it's a more enjoyable film to watch. Wolverine 6/10. A decent watch but the worst of all of the X Men films for me. Flags of Our Fathers 7.5/10. As far as I can gather Eastwood has never made a bad film.

Tbf this all sounds a bit more promissing. No doubt Ashley will find some way to fuck it up more.

Fucking hell I hope not. Shepherd bled black and white though, that is the thing. Shepherd is also a fucking idiot, that is the thing. The man replaced Bobby Robson with GREAME FUCKING SOUNESS. All of our current problems can be traced back to that time. Don't let the reign of Ashley make you forget how bad it ended up under Shepherd. His fucked up decisions were leading us on a path to financial meltdown.
