Regardless of how long these things should or should not take, the fact remains that we are approaching the season fast and are a completely rudderless ship. In the past when our run in's have been poor the previous season we've carried on in that depressed state at the begining of the next term so I can only see that being a lot worse when we've just been relegated. Very soon the players will start demanding transfers rather than just talking to the press about it and we will lose what half decent players we have left and we won't have anyone in charge who can try and replace them if we wanted. There is still the hope that even a bad start won't fuck our promotion attempts up totally because of the amount of games you can lose and still get promoted from this league. But that still relys on something happening before the transfer window shuts. The longer this continues with no signs of movement the more likely it is that won't happen and we'll be stuck with some fucking clown like Kinnear and a bunch of kids and/or we'll go into administration as the chances of Ashley putting any money into the club are absolutely fucking nil!

Unfortunately it probably isn't though is it. Wonder if Wacky Warehouse fancies a bid too?

Alan O'Brien won his first cap during his time at Newcastle, didn't he... Quite possibly and for Southern Ireland who are a better team, but he was a few years older and had regularly playing for the reserves for quite a while before that (had he not been out on loan too?). I'm just hoping that at this age we might have someone who could play for the 1st team at some point.

I know Northern Ireland aren't exactly a bunch of world beaters but you would have to hope that making his debut for them as a 17 year old who's only played in a handfull of reserve games, is a promising sign for us.

Doesn't look a patch on the Poseiden Adventure like. However I find most of his films quite decent fun. Stargate is still the best.

Ice Age 3 6/10 - Due to a fuck up at the pictures we ended up getting the whole trip and our next tickets free which more than made up for an average film. Pegg's canny though.

We Own The Night 7/10. Got bad reviews but I gave it a bash because of the actors in it (Duval in particular) and glad I did as it's pretty solid film. Eva Mendez gets her right nork out too which has to be a good thing!

Especially without Spikey and Ray Von writing too. Let's face it Max and Paddy fell massively flat without them. Roy Walker - I am Irish you know. Kenny Senior - Really, I thought you were just pissing around like that Gerry Adams

If it means we don't have to pay him an extra month wages I'm happy. He looked finished second half of the season so I don't think it's a good move for manure (I'm sure their fans will be happy to see how well they are doing replacing pace, power, work rate etc of Ronaldo and Tevez!) but who knows he might have just really lost interest here, which even given his mega wages you could understand with the way Ashley has run the place. I would suspect his mate Shearer would be more than a bit pissed off if that turned out to be the case.

Mount Gay and Appletons are both excellent but the best I've had is Matusalem. I've got a bottle of 10 year old at the minute and it's gorgeous (makes a class mojito if we're talking cocktails) but the white excellent too.

I was in the town the other day and thought I would go to the club shop and see if the new kit was as bad as the photos looked. Not only didn't they have any (I assume it's not out yet) but there were no signs of it coming at all. Do you think they're so embarassed by it they've had a re think? As soon as the home was announced there were adverts up in every sports shop you went past.

Basically the club isn't being run at all at the moment. They are just leaving it to rot.

It shows how far down Ashley has taken us but right now unless there's someone better bidding (which doesn't really seem to be the case), the fat man would be a big step forward. I was as vocal as anyone else who wanted him out but he would at least give us someone who wants to take the club forward as oppose to someone who has completely given up and just wants to run away. Ashley is leaving us to rot, we have no manager and no one running the club. If that continues much longer we will be in serious danger of a second relegation. Something must be done to stop that and if that has to be Shepherd then so be it. Even if he's learned nothing I am confident he will back a manager with enough to get us promoted (whether the manger he appoints can do the job who knows?).

I think I have, my dad is sorting it out as he has my cash, but if it's not in yet it soon will be regardless of what happens. Despite how pissed off it makes me I do still enjoy going and I'm not going to let Ashley take that away from me.

you need to see some tarkovksy if you liked The Return so much... Stalker's one of his isn't it? I started watching that the other day but was too tired. Ghost Town 6/10. Enjoyable enough for what it was but Hollywood really don't know what to do with Ricky Gervais do they. King Of New York 8/10. One of the best crime films from the the early 90's and it's always fun to see David Caruso getting his head blown off! Ivan's childhood is an easier way into Tarkovsky. I enjoyed the first episode like, obvious similarity to the League of Gentlemen (which is to be expected).

I remember my mate once just wiped his arse on the bog wall in Magaluf when there was no paper. Shit all up the wall. Socks are usually the best option when you're out of paper.

RIP. The guy had serious issues (mostly generated by his dad) but he made some of the best pop music ever. I'm not a mad fan or owt but I can totally respect the quality of what he did (especially when compared to todays charts).
