What are we doing re-signing Lee Bowyer!!!!!
jaythesouthernmag replied to McFaul 's topic in Newcastle Forum
alreet there sparky, still think Craig Bellamy is shit because he didn't score 20 goals a season ? When did I say that fuckstick?? -
No I dont, being in the champions league was great but as i`ve said things have moved on and had done long before the evil Mike Ashley came on the scene with his plan to destroy Newcastle. Yes we did have some top,top footballers but we also had some right fucking donkeys on top whack money too and the club was being run on debts and that sort of spending was ans is unsustainable. I could go out and buy a brand new Ferrari on finance and no doubt get some cracking fanny too but when reality bites and the the money dries up I`m back to the the golf and the models have moved on Get real you fucking dope

You are just typing the same old stuff over and over again. It`s pretty obvious it is impossible to have an adult discussion with you. All you do is answer questions with questions, you should be in politics mate You just enjoy enjoy living in your little bubble of the year 2002 and your fucking groundhog day life I bet as you type you are watching 2000-2003 premiership years, recorded from ESPN, trying to get a quick glimpse of Fred with his halo whilst twisting the neck of your Mike Ashley voodoo doll

I deal with facts. Mad Jock has not and will not respond to my factual replies. mancmag and Renton are self proclaimed smart lads who STILL can't see who is responsible for dragging out these threads. The FACTS are people wanted the Halls and Shepherd replaced, not because they looked into a crystal ball and saw clubs like Blackburn and Bolton being taken over by rich benefactors, and for some strange reason construed that as meaning NUFC had to become a selling club again, but because they thought anybody else would be better and do better than the people who built the club up from nothing. The FACTS are that this has proved not to be the case at all, and the current owner will NEVER match, never mind better, the league positions of the previous regime, and has actually taken us into a decline where we are seen as a selling club again like we were for 3 decades prior to 1992, our ex competitors now see us as no competition to them. Again. We aren't talking about an odd blip here, like finishing 12th with the worst strikeforce in the premiership having sold our top striker, or having a couple of good results in October against Arsenal and the mackems etc, we are talking about sowing the seeds of longer term decline. Time will tell, unfortunately. As Kevin Keegan said, the best day for NUFC supporters will be the day that Mike Ashley sells the club. Unless they disagree with Kevin Keegan...... What you constantly fail to acknowledge is that the premier league has change immensely and a top 4 finish would require a massive investment, which of course is a gamble. City have spent a fortune and didn't manage it in the first season. No other club could afford to do what they have done Would you prefer Ashley to spend a hundred mil, put the club in debt to maybe finish in the top 6??? did you say this was why you wanted rid of Fat Fred 4-5 years ago ? Yes or no. If not, bugger off and stop moving the goalposts. I've repeatedly said, that Man City and Chelsea are a different propostion anyway. Read the threads. Why do the likes of Birmingham and Bolton being bought by rich benefactors suddenly mean NUFC have to become a selling club again ? Give your head a shake. You scaremongers and brainwashed fools are a hoot man. Eveybody is in debt, would you prefer the club to save the money up first or spend a profit of 2m quid a season [if they manage to make 2m a season] on new players ? How far would that go Maybe 10 years ago during the first few years of Bobby Robsons time as manager, "Shepherd" should have done it the Mike Ashley way and sold Shearer and Rob Lee to balance the books instead of finding the cash for Bellamy and Robert to get into the Champions League ? So when exactly is soopa doopa saviour Mike Ashley going to better than the hopeless Fred ? That's 4 years now, and not even a top ten finish yet. So you don't answer the question again, I will ask it once more. Would you want Ashley to spend 100 mil or so to try and break into the top 4 or 5?? Bearing in mind the club would be saddled with a massive debt. As for being a selling club, yeah 35 mil for a striker with half a prem season behind him wasn't good business?? If you don't think so you are dafter than I thought If any of our players want to leave and go to a top 5 club the best Ashley can do is to ensure we get the best price and money is available for a replacement. I've never said Ashley is a soopa doopa saviour and he certainly doesn't have the resources to compete with City,Chelsea and Man U. Players will also find Liverpool more appealing due to their history, like it or not. Arsenal and Spurs being in London have that as an advantage too. What Fred/Halls etc did was pay over the odds and massive, unsustainable wages to attract players, some not all, just before you start. What Ashley is doing is trying to run the club within its means and make it financially stable, which for now is a good thing. Finishing 12th in our first season back is an achievement but needs to be improved on Now don't get me wrong if an Arab with billions to spend wants to buy the club and do a CITY then I or I guess most on here will be happy but until then it is what it is. Is a financially stable club a bad thing? This is the one LM You gonna answer these points??

Thats exactly where we went wrong in the past. Ignore the extra million here and there and you soon have the whole squad looking to outdo the latest increase and find you are paying 90% of your turnover in wages and are stuck with players on long contracts that are no longer performing (Iknow you don't need me to give you examples). what a load of crap. I just knew someone would come along and spout this shite. You call playing in europe regularly, the Champions League, expanding the stadium, having the 14th biggest revenues in world football, building up a profile worldwide on the back of all this.....you call it GOING WRONG ? What bollocks, its exactly what fuckwits have been brainwashed with in the past, to be honest. What do you think it takes to do all of this ? Sell your best players, buy 2nd rate replacements and sell any one of those who are any good, lose supporters and revenues....what a peabrain. Old copy and paste strikes again, why not answer the points I made the other day?? are you really copying and pasting the same old deluded shite ? Why don't you answer my questions and why you are so negative and undersell the club ? Why are you happy signing players who aren't good enough, just so long as they are cheap ? I did answer your questions in the other thread and also made some points that I wanted you to answer but you just duck them, go and have a look and respond to what I said. U could write the same things here if you prefer but will Proberbly ignore it again

I think that's right. They're tieing younsters down to long deals but don't want over the hill and overpaid 'stars' anymore. Which we've had too many of in the past. I don't think a 2 year with a year option is unreasonable for a player knocking on 29
-
Didn't want to pay what he's worth?? He got a new deal after a successful season in the championship and had only played half a season in the prem not to mention his off field issues. I guess we should wait and see if he proves himself to be an 80k per week player

Larson,Bentley,O'Hara,Krancjaer,Jarvis not saying they are better than Nolan and Barton but would all bring decent quality and more so we could Proberbly afford them -
I get this shit all the time on my threads mate. Its the skol super. Geordies high as kites on keyboards saying they all work in offices for fuck sake. They make me laugh. Not one of these fuckers who post this bull shit is on the dole. I think Gazzas got a few accounts on here to be honest. Have you nothing original to say? Also, do you realise you miss words out... all the time? I've not got the time to check the posts I write. I'm on here while doing a spreadsheet working out me funds. Benefits 50 quid Gas and Electric 10 quid Food 10 quid Fags 20 quid Cheap cider 20 quid Overspend of 10 quid better give wonga.com a call

True, maybe they could offer him a pay off rather than paying him to sit on the bench(god help us if he`s on the pitch), he`s not getting any younger so I guess he would want to play. I guess it could be players and contracts like this that make Ashley think twice about paying big wages, not that it helps He gave him the contract I think Ashley will view it like this - if we pay him off we get absolutely nowt for the money, if we don't he might go in the summer or he might go in January or he might play a role (albeit small) next season. All of the last three are better 'value' than just giving him £3m as a golden handshake from Ashley's pov. I'd just offer him £2m or whatever to cancel his contract like. Yeah I know he gave him the contract, I`m sure the other players that came in under Sam got big contracts too. Maybe a loan with a split in wages to a championship club as cant see another premier league club being in for him
-
Can't imagine what the stumbling block is there like. Year left? Just fuck him off as his wages will be more than 2mil and we would be lucky to get half that for his sorry ass Buy Alan Smith a striker who doesnt score or Buy Alan Smith a midfielder who cant pass/tackle I'd rather get Rob Lee back as back up. He's a joke of man and a footballer. Don't want him here. It`s when you see Tiote play you realise how bad Smith is as a CM and he must as well

jaythesouthermag and Qwertyo are new recruits too ...... No I`m not you thick cunt, I just dont live in the past like you. I think Joey deserves a new deal, 2 with an extension of another 1 would be fine, I think he has earned it and if they dont sort it or sign a replacement of the same calibre then they are wrong. Unlike you I dont just cling to one argument and post the same shite in reply to every post.
-
The only good thing that will come out of this is if we sign a proper winger with a good end product, shame as he`s done really well this season. Maybe he/his agent were asking for a long deal/big money otherwise it makes no sense. See what happens with Nolan now
-
Get shut of Smith and his 50k a week wage too
-
Not sure but Proberbly good he didn't play in the last few games, a full pre season behind him should be back flying. Obviously that's if he's 100% recovered. I read somewhere after a break the bone knits back stronger, the only issue could be a mental one
-
Hope he can play to his potential, if so we have a classy player who will make a big difference. Hope he gets the number ten shirt too
-
Maybe he's impressed with the way the club has treated him during his injury lay off? Maybe it's because we're his first club outside of France where he was a rather divisive figure? which will only emphasise his u-turn even more when it comes. Why don't you shut up with your negative, boring, repetitive shite you sad wanker
-
Still not answered my post, you copy and paste wankstain. What a sad, boring, one trick pony you are
-
I said I've answered everything you negative brainwashed cunt. Answer mine. When will Mike Ashley "do better than Fred". I'm not interested in you moving the goalposts, Birmingham and Bolton being bought out didn't happen 5-6 years ago when you wanted Fred out, it is not the reason Fred was booed and all the cretins thought "anybody would do better", and it has nothing to do with Mike Ashley setting NUFC into a declining selling club either. You know nowt about this club pal, I've watched it since 1964 and I've seen all this shite before, and that's how I can recognise it again. So basically don't answer the question and spout your usualshite, me negative?? Fucking hell look in the mirror. Answer the questions you mug as for doing better than Fred, well as I said above its different now. So answer the questions or everyone will see you for the mug you are, go on, for once streight answers
-
LM,Why don't you answer the above points you boring, depressing, rambling old fuck??
-
Surely the way this transfer window works, its going to be the free's / stocking fillers through the door first and the main event will happen in July. This is where those creaming their knicks about Ashleys "plans" REALLY get started ....... Trot on bore. Dont you have your own thread set up for your repetitive shite without you spoiling everything else. Yeah he does but he doesn't want to answer my last point
-
For a free I can see him as back up, if he's gonna be our number 9 (main man) then its shite. Guess we have to wait and see I reckon Ranger(loan) Best or Lovenkrands(sold) to accommodate him
