  1. I think the lack of perspective is probably the main problem on your side. Everything is primarily seen from the British viewing point and based on your own wishes but forgetting there is another party involved with its own people interests and legal boundaries. There is no point in proposing options without checking if they are viable. This “planning” stuff isn’t that difficult tbh...
  2. The result was to be expected but the performance to go with it was dreadful. Diame is unfortunately back to his old form. It will be interesting to see how the season will end with five of the last six games being winnable on paper but not with performances like last night.
  3. I am not convinced it’s him. Not enough flapping involved.
  4. Even the majority of Tories didn't really care about but only a fraction who together with UKIP were able to set the agenda with their nationalistic and xenophobic misinformation remaining unchallenged because of those who now lament their loss of rights didn't know and care about it either. If people have had to pass a knowledge test before being allowed to cast a vote in the roflendum the result would probably have been difficult to acknowledge due to the lack of eligible voters on both sides.
  5. Brilliant that Francois, rather unrelated to the topic*, complained about the ERG getting likened to the German AfD in a BBC program and demanding a public apology only for Rees Mogg retweeting an AfD tweet a couple of days later. Some of these those fascists don’t even pretend anymore... *while Glyn Davies was filibustering a change in law for long time expats to cast votes in future elections and roferindiddums.
  6. They already took hold of your country because without the likes of Farage et al Brexit would never have happened. And while not all of the 17.4 m people who voted to leave are genuine racists the core of the decision- to shut out foreigners and blame them for things not being right in the UK - has been fundamentally racist.
  7. I have to say you have got some brilliant pythonesque comedy running on BBC Parliament tonight.

  9. But don’t hold it abroad otherwise roaming charges might apply...
  10. I just started to watch the BBC documentary “Inside the Commons” I taped a couple of years ago to get a grip about how your parliament works as everything seems rather strange to me. It seems it’s not the first time she infuriated Bercow by playing dirty tricks. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/11222177/How-the-European-Arrest-warrant-debate-descended-into-a-shambles.html It didn’t cause any harm to her though...
  11. I am no legal expert regarding your strange legal and parliamentary proceedings, but as I see it a lot of options will be on the table again if an extension to article 50 gets rejected or depending on the terms of an extension, not to mention a possible revocation of it...
  12. Theresa May proposing another vote on her deal is a bit like Mrs Doyle offering a cup of tea. Go on...
  13. I am sorry for my ignorance, but watching it in utter disbelief your parliamentary proceedings seem hilarious tbh. The way everything is handled and going on doesn’t fill me with any confidence you will ever find a sensible solution for your mess.
  14. They’ll probably reappoint Tony Jimenez to do negotiations to keep sure to “succeed “...
  15. But, but, but, it was the will of MPs to vote against it. This must be respected, otherwise it would be the end of parliamentary democracy...
  16. Referenda have been proven to be stupid ideas when they paved the way for the Nazis here 100 years ago. That’s why they got abolished. Even back then it got proven how easily people can get misled by demagogues . The Brexit example should be the final nail in the coffin of referenda tbh. Not to mention the stupidity to let women and the likes of CT vote as well...
  17. Where’s Noeli’s full time assessment or is he still be busy finishing his half time rant?
  18. Nice article about Viana too, even saying something about his position... https://www.planetfootball.com/in-depth/hugo-viana-on-turning-down-liverpool-for-sir-bobby-life-at-newcastle/
  19. What a shame. He was a fantastic player but neither was I convinced of his coaching abilities nor his alleged behaviour. His allegiance with the current regime was questionable too. Whenever I will think about him I will try to forget about the last two decades then.
