So, and what is with those 9,999,876.39 quid that are left?

So why have go at Swissmag in the first place? And if you are saying that he gets blamed for things beyond his control, isn't that a sort of defence? Anyway, I think the manager is responsible for the fitness state of the team.

I got told about this last Sunday. Eamon Dunphy getting mental live on RTE when defending Roy Keane. I've just found a link and it's fantastic.. http://media.putfile.com/Dunphy

So what should we have done? Looked into our crystal balls and see that he was going to get injured and therefore not bought him? Of course, this would never have happened if SBR was still in charge 62424 Why do you always come up with the same shit comments? 62446 You're the one who appears to think the Robson could do no wrong and that we'd be better off if he hadn't been sack if I'm not mistaken?? Souness was NOT the right man to replace him, but that doesn't detract from the point that Robson had to go - tbh he should have been relieved of his duties 3 months before he actually was! 62449 Hardly anybody is disputing the fact that Robson's time was over and that another solution should have been found. Replacing him with Souness still was a huge mistake. But I fail to see what all this has to do with Owen picking up another injury. And it was you who was linking these two totally non-related topics.

So it is a bit worrying that we have solely to rely on this player and are lacking other options. This season: games with Owen = 13 pts., without Owen = 5 pts. Don't get me wrong, I am excited to have Owen at Newcastle. Though, 16m was a very huge price to pay. I just hope that Owen does play often enough to repay this sum.

While we are at it. In Jormany Hamburger SV is strongly linked with Huntelaar. Apparently Heerenveen want 6m Euro, but HSV want to pay much less. They already got van Buyten and van der Vaart on the cheap...

It was about the time it was hacked IIRC. 62365 I think it was far earlier and I am pretty sure remembering Phil Craig saying that criticism of their website played a role too. For the website itself: Of course it's their website and they do and say whatever they want (and I made my fair share of contributions occasionally). It's just that I think it isn't as good as it used to be. 62373 Is it just merely coincidence that neither of them share your viewpoint on the Bellamy/Robert situations? 62390 I have no problem with them disagreeing with my views (though I don't remember myself commentating on the Bellamy situation very much). And at least they are able to make coherent points. No, I think they become bitchy for the sake of it. And they are losing all the wit that was making their articles a joy to read. The waffle is often still worth reading, the rest becomes drivel. Their website also starts to hurt my eyes. I am all for simple designs, but at theirs it's nowadays difficult to spot the articles between all those adverts, pictures and (sponsored) competitions.

While I agree that during games people should "support" the team I think that sticking with Ameobi for the rest of the season isn't exactly a great prospect. I'd rather see all other available options tried. And that includes bringing Dean Saunders out of retirement...

I would hardly say Shearer was untouchable - just read some of the replies on the Kluivert thread. I am amazed you think Amebi is PL standard though, I honestly think you might be the only one. 62095 No, unfortunately there is another one. 62097 Name and shame. 62100 I'm guessing that Omar bloke. 62102 Or G. Souness. 62354 HTL meant someone whose opinion counts.

Isn't Guy playing for Doncaster for some time now?
-
Good, the League Cup would only be a distraction of our fight against relegation anyway...
-
I can't believe anyone would be so childish as to snap their crayons about any negative comments posted about their own site and type reams of drivel about how "their" site is better. As if that would ever happen !!! 62340 To be fair, didn't Biffa and Niall cut their ties with the original Toontastic forum as they were unhappy with some comments made about their site...

Not at all! I've just had it confirmed by a native. Renton is a KNOWN HOMOSEXUAL - no insider knowledge required to spot that! 62153 You fail to adress the actual point. Where do you know all this stuff about homosexuality and certain locations from?

says the lad from Moss Side. 62125 It's not like I spend my time quaffing pimms in Moss Side......Manchester definitely has its shithole suburbs I agree (Longsight/Moss Side/Hulme) it's just at least Manchester's dodgy suburbs have the redeeming feature of being attached to a decent city. Unlike Nottingham. What the fuck is actually in Nottingham anyways? I'm subscribing to Gemmill's homo theory. Though he does have tendency to apply that to just about any argument at some point I have to concede. 62136 He is obsessed like. I'd rather live in Manchester than Nottingham, I have to say. 62140 Oi! Answer the question I posted above you fruit! Were you or were you not extracting the cream of sum yung guy when you spotted the Anal Treet sign? 62143 Canal Street is however right next to China Town. 62146 No further questions your honour. I rest my case. 62148 Well it only proves that you have too much insider knowledge...

Graeme can do no wrong in my eyes. If he'd said that it would have been fine with me. 62096 Well of course, you're looking into his eyes every time you look in the mirror, Graeme. 62098 If only. *swoon* 62099 Is he well endowed? Actually, strike that comment off. This thread is already one of the worst in existence. 62101 I've read somewhere that a bully is usually compensating for a shortcoming elsewhere. Make of that as you will. 62103 Bet he drives a sportscar too. 62105 Like a retard, I bet. 62107 Now don't go upsetting Gemmill. 62109 You two are just jealous of what Graeme and I have got going together. 62111 So any inside information about the average size of male Scot's genitalia? We already covered black men and Chinese in this thread...
-
Yep there was clearly a division between him and his team mates that was multiplying the problems. Add to it the fact that he didn't look match fit...
-
Nah, it's Gemmill who is obsessed with posting as much Robert stuff as he can. And with him being constantly in denial it probably is that our ginger robot didn't get the French kissing by Robert he so desperately wanted...
-
It was me who got called a prick tbh ... by that fat ginger racist (i.e. stereotypist).
-
Saying black men have big cocks is stereotyping. It's not racism. Just admit you were wrong man you big gay stripey cat. 61937 Well to distinguish between stereotyping and racism is a bit dodgy tbh.
-
sizeist tbh
-
... the google image search isn't that difficult too handle...

I totally agree. The whole point of signing "turkish players" is racist, and odd, to say the least, but then again, Souness is such a fuckwit nothing surprises me. Personally, I don't give a flying fuck if someone is blue and has pink hair so long as he plays well for Newcastle United. 61776 Eh? 61838 It is racist in a way. He's stereotyping an entire nation which, as LM has said, is really quite odd, and patently bollocks. If he had said he only wants to sign English or Scottish players I'm sure you can see there might be a problem. Not really racist, just incredibly stupid tbh. 61861 It's not racist in the slightest tbh. 61869 So stereotyping people by their nationality/race isn't in the slightest bit racist, is it not? What if he had sterotyped them in a negative way, like most turks smell? 61886 Jesus Christ Renton. People say they like the bulldog spirit/never say die attitude about English players. Is that racist? Nope. 61887 I said what he said was slightly racist, but more important it is just complete bollocks. Just like the "bull dog spirit" of the English tbh. 61891 Gemmill is mixing it up with the "bull dog looks" of the English anyway.

He thinks he's got an ace up his sleeve in Shearer man. He'll call the press conference and announce Shearer as the new boss, and sit there with that sluglike smile on his face assuming that we're all wetting ourselves at the prospect of a Geordie manager. 61868 Gemmill, as the saying goes: you can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool all of the people all of the time. (summit like that ) The people aren't going to be fooled if Shearer is appointed as the next manager; they will just keep their money in their pocket and wait for things to happen imo, instead of splashing out more in hope that something will. If Shearer is indeed Portly Freddie's 'ace up his sleeve' I think he has got it wrong big time. 61875 You just watch mate. The majority of people will be swept along in a tide of optimism, firstly at the fact that Souness is gone, and secondly at the "new Messiah" in charge. We'll have the usual pack of numptys on SSN going "Aye, Sheara is ganna be a legend lyk. Wa ganna win the league" and the season ticket applications will pour in for "the new era". 61878 Smoggeordie has to get house arrest then.
