  1. Good shout! Sakho is a pacey strong left back who gets forward and is SOLID in the tackle, Sankhare is just SOLID lol Both young, both talented and both would probably favour a move here! id offer 10mil for both. Would be a start of a french revolution on tyneside...Bassong, N'Zogbia, Sankhare and Sakho...all we'd need to do it get deschamps in as manager!
  2. Blackburn at croft park! Come on! We are blyth, we are blyth, we are blyth!
  3. I echo a few opnions on here that he is better than FSA and GS but he is not made of the right kinda stuff to be a success in the long term. Yes he has made us harder to beat and really he has worked wonders on the defence. But it is his awareness of when to make a substitution and the ability to se where and who to change is what lets him down. Tactically i think he is ok, and we've played some pretty good football under him but too me he is and has to remain a tempory measure till the end of the season. All being said does anyone else have this horrible gut feeling that if MA decides to stay he will appoint JFK as permanent manager? I think if we do finish the season strongly he would do it tbh. Though id not be over upset if that happened, i would be dissapointed in the lack of ambition. Were has the "I want to win something with newcastle" and "I want to be in the top four" quotes from MA gone? I dont mind MA staying but if he does, and we stay up, which im confident of, i really do hope he gets rid of denise wise, or at least change his status to cheif scout. Id like to see Big Al take over, my heart says he will at end of season but my head says he wont. If not him my shortlist would consist of: *Frank Rjikaard (Id try again) *Didier Deschamps Martin Jol (Maybe) *Alan Shearer Alan Curbishley (Maybe) The ones marked * are the ones i think would be massively successfull and has the ambition to match ours. But for now, survival is paramount and all we can concentrate on. Its a waiting game, a guessing game and though its fun, its irrrelevant. Only time will tell.
  4. spartans at home to blackburn if they go through!
  5. N'Zogbia has already stated he wants to leave and Owen has not had a contract renewed, he is away in the summer regardless therefore a businessman (which is what Ashley is) will try and get cash in for him rather than let him go on a free (on top of that we will save £100k every week hes not here). I dont normally, however everything so far is going as I predicted it would, statements made to make us feel better and keep things going until JFK is given a longer role are then countered once hes in the seat. I actually think you are deluded ;D Nice enough, sensible view on what should happen. My view is made clear in another thread and Im so confident that Im willing to offer you odds of 10/1 on the following: None of the following players will go: Owen, Martins, Barton, Given. (Ive even removed CNZ as a favour to you because its so nailed on its untrue). Confident enough to back it with a bet? N'Zogbia has not stated he wants to leave at all, his AGENT had made some mumblings in france, of which CNZ came out and said he wants to stay but if the club wished to sell him he could do nothing about it. Owen has not been offered a contract no, but now the club is not going to be sold until next year id imagine there will be talks of a new contract. You think im deluded? Rather deluded than narrow minded mate, you blinded by your own opinion, either one of us could be right or wrong, only time will tell. And if i had some extra money sitting about id take you up on that fella, NONE of them will leave.
  6. Im originally from blyth and yeah im newcastle 1st, always have been always will be, but as a spartans fan too that draw is what we all dream of.
  7. What time is the draw? Im hoping for...62 - 25 of course!
  8. A few on here have been saying that the likes of N'Zogbia and Owen will go because they are most profitable and thats what MA wants, i totally disagree and think its a biased opinion, from the hate MA ultra. Dont get me wrong i hate MA too but i dont think he is totally fucking clueless as some make himout to be. Why would he sell our best players? We would be MORE likely to go down? Would that benefit him would it? And why are so many people buying into what papers are saying? The same papers that were printing shit and getting slagged off by the same people on here. Up and down, up and down. I actually think no one will leave and we will get a few loans in. If and its a big if anyone leaves, it will be from the likes of smith, geremi, ameobi and cacapa. Id like us to either get Riise on loan or preferably warnock in if there is any money (unlikely). As i think no one will leave, i doubt we will get cover for RB as we'd have geremi, i doubt we'd get a midfielder as barton and smith will be back in new year and i think smith will be used in midfield (JFK has already made a statement about his versitility). In an ideal world with a good owner and a good manager we would: Get Owen to sign a new contract. Let Butt and Harper run out there contracts. Sell shola 1mil, geremi 1mil, Cacapa 500k, Smith 3mil. Promote Kadar to a bench role. Bring in Warnock 5mil and Skjelbred 5mil, then RB and RM on loan till end of season. Then in close season, promote Krul to bench spot as harper will leave, use barton and guthrie as replacement holding mid as butt will leave. Bring in another attacking CM to battle with Skjelbred, and a RB and RM on permanent deals as cover for Beye and Gutierezz. Thats just my take on it all tbh.
  9. You're so thick man. I mean it must be intentional, there's nobody as dumb as you come across could operate a computer. By the way Wise only signed one of those four you named. Enrique and Zog were very average, Enrique kept giving the ball away and Zog kept drifting inside so you had no width. Wise signed all of those players. Thats his job. Alot will agree with you about enrique, and rightly so because he is awful. As for the Zog being average, thats bollocks mate, total complete bollocks, yes he did drift inside at times but so what...wasnt it him he created most of our openings? Especially last 5 mins...
  10. You're so thick man. I mean it must be intentional, there's nobody as dumb as you come across could operate a computer. By the way Wise only signed one of those four you named. Those 4 were signed by wise and his team iirc, and all good signings, but danny b, N'Zogbia was pretty good thday, owen WAS wank though.
  11. Totally agree, for once we are actually looking solid in defence and poor in attack. I dont understand JFK's substitutions once again! I thought if anything he would of pulled of guthrie and played 433. He played 433 with owen, shola and martins, so when you have the skill of Viduka why not? And to pull oba off instead off owen was plain and simple to keep owen happy i think. Iv got a horrid feeling that oba mite just slap in a transfer request. Over all a good point, another away clean sheet and like Gemmil said these last two results are only good results if we get 3 points against Stoke. Where are we now in the league?
  12. Stevie use TVU is always ofa decent standard and easier than looking for streams each week. Bassong has been immence for a few weeks now, could be another quality signing from france, like beye. As for owen not getting service, yeah thats true but he's went missing too, oba is showing for the ball, his movement is actually good thday but owen has done fuck all!
  13. Pretty good performance so far, bassong, beye and coloccini have been outstanding, enrique wank as ever! Good to see charlie looking lively and tracking back well too! Gutierrez has been poor again 1st half though, not done anything, neither has owen for that matter. Come on boys...good second half please!
  14. JFK done the correct thing today! I change my prediction...3-1 Toon...N'Zogbia, Oba, Viduka off the bench Warren Barton! He keeps calling coloccini, cudicini! Spartans on Fox Sports haha get in lol
  15. 2-1 today... N'Zogbia freekick and oba belta...downing for them.
  16. Well people have said that JFK has always said what he was told to, so i see this as being no different. If we bring anyone in then i'l be suprised. Whether or not they are JFK's players we will never know. If though we are all being cynical and he has said what he wants and hasnt been told to do so, then we can have a little hope that owen, given and n'zogbia will say and we will add to the squad. Its guessing games, nothing has changed.
  17. As long as the team is getting positive results then i'm not too fussed These positive results you speak of have us in the relegation zone Because other teams results went against us
  18. I dont think it leaves JFK with a problem at all, charlie in and viduka takes shola's bench spot. Simple as....why is it complicated?
  19. Though i seem this coming and im not suprised i dont think its all bad tbh. As 2bias said he has brought a bit of stability and a dogged nature to the side, i hold my breath when saying this but i dont think KK would of got a draw at stamford bridge. Im not sayin JFK is better than KK, FAR FROM IT. Just KK would of went to chelsea and played openly and i think we'd of got trounced. Also now there is not gonna be any more uncertanty until the end of the season, it lets JFK and the squad commit and knuckle down now till the end of the season. I now also think that ashley has resigned to the fact he will need to give JFK money in january to build the squad. Thus helping us stay up and making us a more sellable asset. Hopefully we can tie up owen to a new contract now, JFK has always said he would try his best if he was here for longer so maybe just maybe it can happen. Even if it was just for one more year. Theres a little hope.
  20. have a word with that clever lad Attain, Tom. For the record, they spell it Kuyt. However they pronounce it about five or six different ways I prenounce it coyt...i heard him in a TV interview when he was asked how it was prenounced and it is coyt. Kuyt, coyt....whatever...he's the ugliest fucking footballer iv ever seen anyway.
  21. Enrique nor xisco will leave in my opinion, for enrique to go we would need to bring in 2 permanent LB's and thats unlikely! I d love to see warnock and risse come in but its not going to happen. I think we mite get risse and enrique will be back up. Xisco could go but i think it would only be on loan imo, maybe to the likes of hull, stoke? but probs a lower la liga side. As for charlie, i really hope he doesnt, and i really hope that JFK saying he's going nowhere isnt just bullshit. But then again for all charlie is a good player who does seem to be the typical huffy frenchman, his attitude at times has been pretty poor. If we can get anything near what milner went for id let him go...anything over 10mil yes but anything under id keep him. Id rather the likes of geremi, smith and cacapa were offloaded, they are all shit and bring absolutely nothing to the side. Replace them with a LB CB CM ie. Warnock or Risse, Samba and Skjelbred or Nolan. Then we have a stronger looking squad, a team that should stay in the league and push up the table. Given Beye Taylor Coloccini Riise Gutierrez Skjelbred Barton N'Zogbia Owen Martins Subs: Harper, Samba, Enrique, Guthrie, Butt, Duff, Viduka Thats a top 8 side for sure...
