But why wont we? Like i said....who are better for 6th and 7th? I predict the top 10 to finish.... Man U Man Citeh Arsenal Chelsea Tottenham Liverpool Newcastle Everton Aston Villa Sunderland
-
Nile-gate wasn't a goal Gotta be one of the worst misses iv EVER seen. Really...he is shit!
-
a route into europe that was once scorned........ Problem is, we won't anyway. Scorned by who? Finishing 7th and giving yourself that chance is deserving of it imho. Its possible and lets me honest we have a pretty fuckin good startin 11.....apart from man u, man citeh, arsenal, chelsea and tottenham who have a better starting 11? Liverpool are shit....so are villa and everton....mackems arent as good as our best side neither.....who then?

If Arsenal win the LC and one of the top 6 win the FA Cup and we finish 7th then we would qualify for the Europa League. Look at the teams around us, look at our form....have a bit of faith....allow yourself to dream. ---Harper--- ---Simpson---Taylor---Coloccini---Enrique--- ---Barton---Nolan ©---Tiote---Gutierrez--- ------Carroll---Ben Arfa----- Subs: Krul, Williamson, Kadar, Gosling, Guthrie, Routledge and Best. Back Up: Campbell, Raylor, Perch, Smith, Vuckic, Shola, Lovenkrands and Xisco. I actually think that squad there is more than capable of finishing 7th....im not saying we will but look at the teams around us! A few more signings albeit on loan or not and it will only boost our chances.

Its blatant. BBC are wankers.

Don't even try that shit tonight. Fuck off you soft lad I think most fans can start to see some of Pardews influence coming through and thats nothing against Chris, just a fact. Go ahead then, how have you seen Pardew's influence? I think in the last few games we are starting to see a variety of new free kicks being used such as Colochins off the bar and the one to lovenkrands for the goal tonight. I also think he has got Tiote playing safer in our half. He definitely seems to have the team closing down players better and holding posession a lot better. He seems to be getting through to Jonas (however I'll concede that could be the Ben Arfa signing) I also dont think you would have seen Hughton starting with Best or using Ferguson. Hughton would have put nolan up with Lovenkrands, Barton into the middle and Routledge on the wing. I think he's showing some balls, especially considering these were two must win games. I think in general he uses substitutions (and their timings) very well. Just my opinion. I have to agree.

The big AC and none of our top players will leave....we've turned that corner now....signing Ben Arfa is a sign of ambition come on lads lets stop the doom and fuckin gloom eh? Pardew said terms of him signing was that AC, ST and JB stayed...i know its FMA but come on....a little faith eh?

Absolutely fantastic win and a mullering was coming tbh. I said this morning we would wi 3-0 and best to score so im delighted it was even better than thought. Wist'am are fucked like. Have to say if best can build on that then he could develope the perfect partnership with carroll. Quick and strong. Ranger is dogshit.....loan him out for sure. Tough 2 games coming up now but 4 points from 6 and we will be looking home a fookin dry baybeee!

You've no idea how happy that makes me alex. I said all along Simpson was a good RB.

Captain Fantastic raised and regimented. Hardly a hero. Just someone his mother might know. Bernie Taupin Very Good.

I agree on taylor, dont think he was bad, just wasnt good neither....average shall we say? Coloccini on the other hand was a class act again. I actually though Jonas had a pretty good game for what he does.....runs with the ball and wins free kicks......should of scored but at that pace was a tough chance. I just wish he like routledge could cross then we would have two proper wingers. Average for him You happy he signed a new deal? Dont get me wrong i dont think he is a great CB but he is decent and like other have said, to replace him would be in the region of 5mil. I'd still be looking at getting wheater at end of season though. Taylor, Coloccini, Williamson, Wheater and Kadar to choose from. I'd be fairly happy with that.

Enormous 3 points yesterday, broke the hoodoo and imo was a pretty decent performance for a one-nilla. I though everyone except lovenkrands done well. Tiote IS the nutz man.....cant wait for us to get a proper right winger out there so we can have Tiote and Barton as our central partnership.

1st Chez 2nd Alex 3rd Happy Face imo

Definitely won over alot of his early critics and myself. As a captain he has been fantastic and although his legs are almost gone, on the grand scheme of things he still brings alot to the team.
-
Yes please. Genuine quality service for big AC.

They'll not do it again tho will they?

I'm quite stunned by that comment like. Why?

ROBBIE KEANE is hoping that Newcastle United come calling in the January transfer window to end his Tottenham Hotspur nightmare. Sources close to Keane indicate that the Republic of Ireland star knows his number is up at White Hart Lane after just six Premier League appearances and that he would relish the opportunity to come to St James’ Park and form a potentially explosive partnership with top scorer Andy Carroll. Ironically, Keane was reportedly offered to United as bait earlier this month as they looked to prise away Carroll awau from Tyneside, but both the Geordie and his boss Alan Pardew – who says Spurs are “wasting their time” trying for the Gateshead lad – have made it clear there is no chance of him leaving Toon. The Chronicle revealed on August 27 that 30-year-old Keane was a target of former boss Chris Hughton, but United did not strike a deal with Spurs. However, Keane is hoping that interest will be followed up again next week when the transfer window reopens, even if his £6m price tag may put off several of the clubs targeting the Eire ace. Aston Villa, his former club Wolves and West Ham are all interested in Keane, but the 104-cap Ireland international is waiting to see what unfolds in the next four weeks. A source at White Hart Lane told the Chronicle: “Robbie knows that January is almost certainly likely to result in him leaving Spurs. “He was intrigued by the interest when he was linked with Newcastle last summer and is eagerly waiting to see what happens. “Robbie knows Newcastle is a super club and the thought of playing at a packed St James’ Park in front of 52,000 is appealing to him.”Keane has still managed to find the net three times this season, with two strikes for Ireland in the European Championship qualifiers and a goal against Arsenal in the Carling Cup for Spurs. Meanwhile, as the Chronicle reported last week, a permanent move for Hatem Ben Arfa is understood to be edging closer for United. Pardew made it clear he wanted to keep the French international talisman despite the horrific double leg break he suffered at Manchester City in October. Fwiw i think Pardew could come good with us. I like his attitude. Granted when he arrived i was fuming, his track record isnt great but all his time have at least tried to play good football and with no disrespect to the likes of Charlton and Wist'am they dont have the pull we do. He's come here, probably unexpected to him and he's got one hell of a job on. He's addressed pressing issues already too, taylors contract, stating he wants to keep barton and carroll which i actually think we will and then gone on record saying where he wants to stregnthen and again i beleive we will. As for these mongs on here talkin about signing Barfa now is a cover up for no other spending really are just that....mongs. If he comes back, has a storming end to the season and still doesnt play 25 games he will be snapped up by someone else. Signing him now is a brilliant idea imho. He's looking at another LB and ST......Robbie Keane? Yes please.

Could easily be any from carroll, tiote and barton. Id say carroll though purely on his goals and ability to step up from the cc.
