  1. DotBum do you really *have* to have that avatar?? My poor eyes I curse whoever brought that picture to this board in the first place. Oh, and F1 is not dull. So ner.
  2. Woohoo (woohoohoo)... all booked for F1 testing at Silverstone at the end of April... me and dad have got hospitality tickets which means that we get some access to the paddock WHICH MEANS that I get to stalk racing drivers!!!!!!! AND - *all* teams have confirmed they'll be there!!!! THAT MEANS ZONTA AND WURZ FOR SURE!! *hopes Jenson is still being good and doing lots of testing then... though resigned to the fact that he might be slacking off instead* Tralalalala... oh the exciteyment! Just thought I'd share. *semi-disappears again*
  3. Someone's busy at work today I see....
  4. *sings* "You gotta Join..... Join Danny..... you gotta Join (JOIN ME)... Join Danny.... oooooooo you gotta JoinJoinJoin Join Danny (that's me).. you gotta Join (JOIN ME!) Join Danny....." I admit that the song is slightly better when you combine these lyrics with the tune. And have Danny sing it. But still.... the thought is there...
  5. Lou Female 20 Student. well... that was exciting.......
  6. And there HAS to be dancing policemen. Oh the joys of policemen doing impromptu identical dancing. To be honest, I feel that quite a lot of my thoughts could generally go in this thread. Sooo... I'm just going to save you all some time and not even bother....
  7. God I love Babelfish!! Also had to giggle at his name being translated to "rank-nod"....

    FAO Meenzer

I like it. Meenz seems to have temporarily disappeared...... AGAIN.... *sigh*....
  9. From F1racing.net : Certainly works nicely in the still photos....
  10. My brother got through a couple of the audition stages of Big Brother last year... you probably all remember my pure horror back at the time..! This year a girl I know is trying out for it..... she's blonde, pretty, wears skimpy clothing, is very bubbly and noisy and says exactly what she thinks and she's got a fairly foul mouth. She's easily wound up by idiots, and is not one to let stuff just lie. (For the record, she's also absolutely lovely and my family love her to bits) Unfortunately, we reckon she's a shoo-in.....
  11. Maybe that's why I was nice and polite and using a smiling 'smiley'... rather than wanting to rip you limb from limb if I'd thought you were being *entirely* serious.... ? Maybe.
  12. Jimbo, dear? Shut the fuck up. I can't believe it's finally over. I can't believe he's finally free. I might start to have just a teeny bit of faith in the justice system again now.... innocent until proven guilty..... sometimes people forget that.....
  13. Oh yes, yes. Indeed. Lee Hendrie... was trying to remember his name... could only think of describing him as "the ugly little plasticy looking one that looks both old and young and like a chimpanzee all at the same time". You'd probably have got it from that. And I remember Danny Mills once kicking Bellamy in the shins. I've disliked him since then. The swine. Ohh... and throw Barthez in there too. He scares me. He looks REALLY evil. There's a long haired Arsenal flouncy one that I don't like because he looks evil too. Ooooo.. Pires, that's him. He the spitting image of Satan.
  14. I don't like Ruud Van Nostrils. His face makes me want to hit it. Beckham annoys me because everyone treats him like he's god. That's not neccessarily his fault, but he's just so meh. Steven Gerrard. I dunno why, but I'd like someone to beat the crap outta him for me too. Please. If you would. There's more.. but that would involve thinking... I tend to just recognise these people by their faces and then point at the TV screen and irrationally announce "I don't like him." I'm a nice person.
  15. I didn't in any way run an image search on a couple of those.... I must say that van persie boy is very distracting to have running around on a football pitch when I'm watching on TV. How am I meant to concentrate when he's there being pretty?? Tsk. 1. Craig Bellamy 2. Aaron Hughes 3. *shrug* I miss them.
  16. Lou

    Nummy...

Maybe 50 years of marriage is enough, and he wants out? Also, I like how she's looking at him like he's a nutter....
  17. I sense that someone's been reading fucking silky's mailout.....
  18. Spot on. That poor, poor child. As if having James Allen for a dad isn't bad enough. I hate how he treats viewers like imbeciles that have never watched F1 before.. never even seen a car before.... suddenly he'll start explaining the most simplest of concepts (the cars have four wheels each) (actually I remember that marvellous time when the ferrari pit crew forgot that... oh how I laugh...) ... and I really do want to throw things at him. When I was in the same room as him I made sure that I kept well away from him, because I couldn't trust myself not to cause him any kind of physical injury if he got within reach. Disposing of his voice box would be a nice start. Annnnyyyywaaayyy......!!
  19. 1. Johnny Herbert 2. Jenson Button 3. Ricardo Zonta I don't know why, but I've always been so fond of Zonta... it's quite nice supporting someone where you can consider it a success if they get to about lap 11 without crashing yet. The time he was in 3rd for most of the race, I almost died with nerves for him. And Jens is just lovely. And Johnny's incredible to have had such a long and successful (he won 3 races... I'd consider that a success, everything considered) F1 career after his BrandsHatch crash. I saw a photo of that for the first time the other month.... You can actually see his feet hanging off. *shudder* I'd also never really realised just HOW good he was before that, either... It really rams home how much things can change in just a split second. Scary. Oh, and he's also a great guy too... such a character!
  20. Oh. My. God. That is the WORST and therefore the BEST thing I have EVER SEEN. .... can't .... stop....... laughing....... !!!
  21. Me be in Birmingham. Quite fancied a hurrah at the loss of Mr Get-Rid-Of-All-Lou's-Fave-Players (oh yeh, -And-Run-The-Team-Into-The-Ground ... that bit's bad too, obviously) ..... but you can't turn down free travel and accomm for a weekend of fun can you? Well. I can't. Toodlepips.
  22. ... or crash into another plane... and everyone on one plane dies.... everyone on the other plane survives... or something to that effect. Would like to think that last bit of your post was true though, Rob........ Actually, no, I don't like to think about it in that kind of detail at all. *backs away from the thread* Oh, but btw, gold star for Lazarus and "that's quite a range". *applauds*
  23. I was too little when i first flew to remember it now. I flew loads when I was little... lots of good old 13hr flights. I used to just curl up on my seat and go to sleep for it all. Which, actually, is still essentially what I do. I love flying. And I don't mind long flights at all.... 13 hours where I just HAVE to sit and sleep, eat, watch TV, read, and play silly little computer games. I don't see how this is in any way bad???? Maybe I'm just a lazy sod. I've never been scared when flying, not that I can remember anyways, so if I was at some point, then it's obviously not left any lasting psychological scars. My uncle died in a plane crash before I was born, but it's never stopped any of the family from flying, never made any of us afraid of planes. I guess there's no point in stopping living life and doing what you want, just because there's an offchance that it could be dangerous... even if you had to be made aware of the danger the hard way.
  24. a male who drives a Ford or a Peugeot - Holidays in the US - well, I did go twice last year, but that was in extenuating circumstances. I wish I could bloody AFFORD to holiday in the US. Favourite film is Lord of the Rings; The Return of the King - never seen it Listens to Hopes and Fears by Keane - never heard it Spends £695 a year on health and grooming products - £700!!?? That's just a tad ridiculous. Spends £685 a year on clothes - good god no. Spends £116 a year on cd's and dvd's - maybe about half that. jeezus, I really just don't buy things do I?! Spends £79 a year on books - including uni books, WAY more. not including uni books, WAY less. Goes to 11.2 games a season - I don't watch just .2 of a game. Unlike the guy that sits next to me...! Social groups? I'm a student, I'm afraid. Arrives 33 mins before kick off and departs 11 mins after final whistle. - depends. Sometimes though. Somtimes.
