Their best games seem to be ones where Pogba or someone has a day where they’re unplayable and just run the game, if that doesnt happen they just look average.

Got a nice reminder of what an utter bellend Warnock is when I was reading about how he disliked Benitez. It’s all because Benitez played a weakened side against Fulham in the second last game of the 06/07 season, Liverpool had the CL final two weeks later and went on to lose to Fulham which put Sheffield United in the bottom 3. I think it’s somewhat standard nowadays to contact the players agent to get a sense of how receptive they would be to a move, clearly we don’t bother with that as this is the perfect result for them. The player was just being nice imo, I don’t imagine he will play much at PSG so coming to a club like us would be better for his development as he’d get more game time. So I think it’s just he doesn’t want to come to Newcastle as honestly we seem like a basket case of a club.

Got to love a completely unneeded club meltdown after a season of positivity. The most ridiculous part is that the large net spend under McClaren that toonraider buzzes about will be needed soon.
