  1. I clapped him off like. Didnt think it was a red card at the time either. Even seeing it back I didnt think it was malicious. Crap control and he tried to get it back, bit of a lunge and a bit daft.

Canny is another one. I say it loads as well as like..... like. Canny good, canny bad, canny shite, or just canny. But canny on its own can mean any of these depending how I say it.
  3. Tbf, the second one has grown on me. I like the blue and the whole thing does have an "arty" feel to it.
  4. I stopped reading after "one dimensional thug". Carroll is a twat for leaving, but anyone who watched him could see his worth in a side. His work rate was top class. Far from one dimensional. The fee was mental but that was only because of Chelsea paying what they did for Torres.
  5. Good news. It did make sense that he was on a short term deal and in fact Im surprised Pardoo / MA agreed he was right for the job so quickly. Good move though and unlike my sceptisism of the Tiote deal, I cant see any bad in this one.
  6. I really REALLY just don't get this mindset No? Hadnt Carroll not long signed a new deal? Every player has a price. All a long contract ensures is that a player who attracts attention of the loaded clubs should command a large fee. Either way, I welcome the news, he's been immense for us this season.

    german?

My mother used to live in Osnabruk. I also spent some time in Munster. I learned all I needed to: (excuse the spelling) Ein Grossen Bier Bitter Followed by "tuse"? when we walked out of the bar
  8. I reckon you'd smell a right twat wearing that.
  9. Nor me. The number of other clubs forums I visit in a day? 0. Nil. Nowt. Couldnt be arsed tbf. The only time I do is if I want to see their opinion on a matter thath also involves us. Even then I dont post, only read.
  10. Never rated him since he came. Still dont. Its up to him to change my mind. Not convinced so far like.
  11. Happy Birthday, enjoy your lie in!
  12. Its a tough one, dispite the pissy arguements, both squads have some merit. I'd take Given over Harper and our current defense by a long shot. The forwards of the old squad naturally as well. Midfield isnt as easy. I'd take the wingers from the old squad but CMs of the new. Based on a starting 11 only, I get 5 old players and 6 current players. However, the question says squad. Outside of the starting 11 the current squad has one decent players to come in (Ben Arfa, Ireland Im not counting as is a loan and Gosling yet to see). While in the old squad while I'd use Duff and Solano over Jonas and Barton as wingers, there is still the likes of Dyer, Zog & Milner you could have on the bench. In that case, I'd say the old squad. So given the choice, one whole squad or the other, I'd pick the current based purely on attitude over the old that I think has more overall ability (as a aquad).
  13. Hope you had good-uns. Happy Birthday
  14. Really sad this like as ever. Read a tweet on twitter (duh) about someone who was asking about a missing person, their relative in NZ and then the picture of the building they worked at was shown on TV as pile of rubble. Thoughts with all concerned like.
  15. Did that big rugby player Skinner not go to your school. Big fucka played for England early 90s. No idea. The School was West Denton High.
  16. Had a very quick mess in Photoshop to give you an idea what I was looking at. I didnt get the colour balance right but didnt mess around with it much.
  17. I like the first shot, quite abstract. Not sure about the second. Is that b&w top and colour bottom? Third pic I think the white balance is off? I really like reflections in water though. Id also be tempted to crop half of the sky out so you have 2/3 water/land and 1/3 sky rather than 1/2 and 1/2.
