The Silent Treatment... A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving each other the silent treatment. In fairness, I think every team or manager who bring players in have some duds. Im mostly happy with the players we brought in. Certainly more so than the ones SA brought in overall (though Beye was SA's best signing).

Is a very good question. Wern't we promised a signing that never materialised? Anyway, I think any from Enrique, Smith, Shola, Geremi could be on their way generating some cash.

Firstly, most here dont have that much against JFK, more the fact that MA now has a puppet manager which he wanted all along, something KK would not be. I dont actually think he's a bad manager. In fairness, he's steadied the ship "a bit". We were going ok under KK and I dont think we'd be where we are now under KK. The players in the team are ok, but we know they can play much much better. The problem with the possible signing are nothing to do with the manager, they are to do with the lack of funds. While you might say the signing last made by MA weren't bad, thats because only the decent ones are getting a game. Two of them have barely seen the pitch! KK in my mind was right to go, its a disgrace what happened. Even your own "geezer" you have now I think it was came out and said he was right to go. Funny when he did it was KK walked and yet Curbs, who if you recall left for the very same reason, was upholding his principles

I agree thats its best for the club short term, however as said this is exactly what MA wanted. A manager in place who is in all essence a puppet. Fuck all to do with ambition. Just a yes man and a mouthpiece.

I supported the idea of NUSC, but I think they had a shaky start and that prevented me signing up right away. but in fairness to them, I'd be more critical if they just blew any income in one go on pointless exercise. Income doesnt have to be spend as soon as its earned, its generally put under a pillow until its needed. Id rather they took time and thought through their objectives than just reacted on spec like headless chickens.

I think most football fans want flowing attacking football. Im sure though when you were nailed to the bottom you didnt care so long as you climbed out. Thats where I see us. I couldnt care less what kind of football was needed to get that one point. That one point could be the difference between staying up or not. Fact is if we tried to play football against Chelsea, chances are we wouldnt have got that point. Job well done I say.
