Got this for the PS3 the other day. Cracking game like though I was a big fan of the originals (apart from tactics which was "ok"). Enjoying this one like, wasn't sure if they could capture the feel of the originals but I reckon they have.

Id pretty much agree about the selling of Sir Les being worse. At the time I was gutted and couldnt believe we'd sold Cole. But, we still had the core of the team and in fact while the Beardsley/Cole partnership was free scoring, the Shearer/Les one was stronger and still probably the best we've had to date. The timing of the Les sale was just simply awful.

Kinnear has done "ok" and may continue to do "ok". Lets not forget Roeder done well when he came in for the end of the season. Its a whole different game though when you also have to factor in transfers and moulding the team to your own to progress.

Shite first half like, but fair result at HT. Despite the possession, they hadnt troubled us that much but we gifted them that goal like. We've had some canny second halves though so I hope that continues. Least we can change it around a bit.

You're right like, its all over at the min. Makes for an interesting season like but at the minute we're as much aiming for Europe as we are avoiding relegation.

Firstly, to the OP, what a sad sad individual, to actually take time out of your day to go troll another teams message board. you lonely or something? Anyway, I cant understand any fan of any team being so small minded as to only want fans who can spit on the ground from their bedroom window. I welcome in any supporter of the club no matter what their origins. Equally, I can't possibly question the level of someones support by the distance they live. While they might not get wrapped up on the day to day life of the club, thats not to say they cant follow from afar. I'm not suggesting all far away fans are of the same passion for the club, in the same way that there are varying degrees of local supporter. Like.

An EX STAB eh lol (only joking TA do a good job) Who were you with in the TA I was with the REME up at Walker. Loved it tbf like. Few of the lads there went to Bosnia when I was there like along with the Medics who went from Fenham. I'm in the Engineers ( regular ) I like the REME i know a few good lads with them Ah, the Engineers used to share the same barracks as us in Walker until we moved.

I used to when I was in the TA. Used to do the parade at Eldon Square and then usually down to HMS Caliope (or whatever its called) at the quayside to get pissed. Dont bother now like.
