Well yeah, I think while I think we could make do with the m/f as it is now, I do agree we need creativity there, someone who can link with the forwards and more so get a few goals themselves. Trouble with Milner is he's not really one for getting amongst the goals, not sure if that would change in the middle. While I think Zog maybe could, again poor at crossing but is maybe more dangerous than Milner running into the box.

He does have a good engine like so to speak. We also know that his crossing is woeful. He is a talent though and I would rather he stayed at the club. I think having Jonas, Duff, Zog & Milner that gives us some good options at our level across the midfield. They can all play outside and Zog/Milner maybe do ok inside. Id certainly not see our midfield as a priority at the moment anyway. Not yet. I still think a forward, left back and centre (sounds like a hair cut...).

I think its hard to look past Man Utd or Chelsea. I think Chelsea will be stronger this term, will be interesting to see how Scolari does. Reckon they will push Man Utd pretty close. If Ronaldo leaves Man Utd (which I dont think he will), then Id say Chelsea.

Its very grey imo. Where do you draw the line? He (Ferg) has said not only have they lodged a bid, but that he expects it to be complete within a time frame. That might be fine if Spurs had accepted the bid or told Man Utd to up their offer and were negotiating. But, as far as I can see Spurs rejected the bid and said he wasnt for sale. So, then Ferg is doing what he does best in unsettling player. I've no love for either club, but I do think this is an issue at times. Especially when Man Utd take the holier than thou stance when it comes to Ronaldo despite being one of the worst offenders.

Id like to see more or Carroll and see what he can develop in to. Not been to the reserves games for over a year so I kinda lost touch with how some of the young kids were developing.
