  1. Ooh, this thread look interesting
  2. how does anyone know he isnt looking past Harry? How does anyone know who he hasnt or hasnt been on the phone to? Come on, have a read around. Just who do we really want?
  3. Ok, so it might to be Lippi, or Wenger or Jose But come on, lets get a slice of realism here. Look at the state of us? Look at what we have done since Bobby left (was pushed) ? Why would any one of that calibre even think of coming here right now? Ive no doubt we could have got Sven, but we had Sam at the time. Jose probably wouldnt even pick up the phone to us. None of us wanted McLaren or Hughes. Would Jol have been much better than Harry? Looks at Spurs start to the season under him? Im sick of the shit thats been served up this season. IF (still an IF remember) Harry took what was offered, I know Id get behind him. Ashley wont be saying "I want to with the CL Harry" more like "We need to be in Europe". Then we'd see where we went from there. It is much a sideways step (or would be) but if he did come on ffs give the bloke a chance. No wonder were becoming a laughing stock.
  4. Just been reading.. Not going back. Its a dark dark place and they say mean scary things.

FACT! - no matter who is appointed, half of this board (and most others) will be up in arms calling it ludicrous!

    House prices

Im looking to move myself and have been keeping an eye on things. The ideal thing (for me) I think would be to sell and rent for a while, but I cant be arsed with the hassle. I'll prob end up moving and be done with it. Its all relative afterall, more so if you plan on making your next move long term. It does sicken me when I see a house I bought 6 years ago now for £90k now being worth over £400k, more so when I sold it for around £130k about 4 years ago ... House prices are stupidly high for what you get. but any down movement would be temporary imo and long term they will keep going up.
  7. Least his chin is smiling

  9. Odds shortening dramatically too. SSN in betting scam ring. yup
  10. I read that completely wrong Blackburn saying that there has been no approach btw and even if there was they wouldnt let him go at all? please?
  11. Or maybe Ashley fancies a bash at it himself
  12. All I keep reading from various sources is people saying, "No, xxx is not inline for the job". These have rules out Shearer (BBC), McLaren (Anal), Moyes (Kenwright) & Redknapp (various). Then if you look into the line about it must be someone in a job now it rules out Mourinho, Jol & Lippi. Kinda only leaves Hughes.....
  13. When you look at the disregard he has for his shareholders, the way the company's chairman suddenly departed and the fact that after 8 months they still haven't been able to find anyone suitable willing to take the job then you have to ask questions about his style and how he runs his businesses. I'm not saying that he's a bad business man but he certainly appears to have his failings and it'll be interesting to see how those failings affect us. Isnt it that its not so much he is a bad businessman, but his methods and actions do not suit the city? Consequently, the share prices have suffered yet the companies themselves are actually doing ok?
  14. The tumbling odds on Hughes is worrying, and as for McLaren... well, he wouldnt would he? surely?
  15. As Ive said before, Sam wasnt under pressure just for getting beat. Its the manner in which we were getting beat. If the next manager comes in and we finish in 11th, I think most would accept that so long as we could see the direction we were going and make some kind of sense from it. I was sitting on the fence on the Sam subject. I really couldnt decide. Getting rid now I find hasty and a decision Id only expect if they had someone lined up. We stuck behind Robson when under him we finished 11th and 11th in the first two seasons because more than likely we could see the way ahead. Could anyone see the way ahead under Sam?
  16. All in all its shite, but this line in particular is one being spouted more and more to me it utter garbage.
  17. According to Micky Quinn on Talksport this morning, Allardyce had a meeting with Sam on Saturday where the brand of football was discussed. Apparently they couldnt agree on this, the way the football was being played and it that this was the last straw for Mike.
  18. Of course, the new relationship that seemed so good could also go tits-up. and the whole cycle starts over?
  19. Well from the crop of names that only really rules out Shearer. Still worried.
  20. Id have him before McLaren, Hughes or dare I say Bruce
  21. Im just curious what he was searching for to come up with that pic?
  22. Beat me to it Would be batter than Mackrelaren though.
