Should people have to apply for a license to have children.
JawD replied to Kevin Carr's Gloves's topic in General Chat
In nature if the babies of another couple are left alone or weak they are often killed. Breeding is of course natural and everyone's right. Expecting society to pay for the children time again is not. In the wild if a parent can't look after the young it is abandoned and dies. but, let's say it was done by licence based on the ability to fund and raise the children. How long until the children born themselves were judged and we started keeping or aborting based on attributes. -
I'm in the same boat. I cycled to/from work last year and was completely fucked by it. 23 mile down hill more or less was easy but a nightmare coming home. I'm looking to do it again but 10m each way and then 15 etc. Lad I know is a keen cycler and he said the best ones are those that use your tow bar. Which I don't have so I'm looking to get one fitted before looking further.

I agree with that. Granted its difficult to know what's true from what you read, but even the player came out and said Lille kept changing their mind on what they wanted. We can't simply keep upping our bid if the selling club says €6M one day and €9M the next (or whatever the figures are)

I think that was when I met a few in centurion, I know Tom was there and I think JJ. She was getting hammered then and I left early to meet up with my mate before KO and I heard about the L7 puke Oh, and dont forget Bridget as well.
-
Aye I used to drop by on occasion to the Trent or centurion, wherever it was. Oh and Stevie if you are on about Jimbo, he's a canny bloke tbf.

I wasnt actually meaning you, but now that you've said it
-
Especially when you're a 26st bearded dress wearing bloke who goes by the name of Doris.

Well that graph shows it was starting to increase from 04-05 slightly and who knows what it is 05-12? Prob need to see if way it was reported changed as well.

Yeah I know I should wait until the end of the window and we can't judge until then, I also realise part if this is their way to squeeze every last penny. But by fuck it's frustrating.

You need to watch that "monsters inside of me" prog. It's awesome, especially if you have an itch while watching it -
I'm turning in to a right old fart. I'm off this week and am up at the caravan but I spent the day doing photography along the Northumberland coast. Now back at the caravan waiting for wor lass to come back with the bairns, sitting out the front resting my bare feet on the warm grass. It's lush

BBC nailed it like. I loved that I could hit the red button and chose the event I wanted to watch and then go online later and watch any highlights i wanted on their website or even stream at live at work. Brilliant stuff. While I'd have liked to have experienced it first hand for the atmosphere etc, in doing so you must miss a hell of a lot as well.

And we had Mthingy before we signed Cisse
-
Before he signs, he will no doubt have that talk about where he will play and what he can expect. Of he signs, I'd assume he's happy with what was put to him.
-
Both. Pards likes the versatile players like. Allows him to have a smaller squad.
-
Aye. That alone is weird.

The more I read or hear about this the more twisted it gets. Radio suggesting the grandmother done it and the bloke knew and covered it up.

Everytime I hear about a murder, especially that of a child, I think I'd want them dead. But its easy for me to say that having not been in that position. With more thought, I think what I'd actually want is for them to suffer and death isn't. Only their family would and as said that's not right. I think my only real grievance with the judicial system I have is I think it drags on (as lawyers fill their pockets) and many sentences feel too short. I'd genuinely like to see hard labour and work in our cities done (clean graffiti, fill pot holes, pick up dog crap etc). Surely that could save money? In some cases i think it worth training the criminals and get them a trade. So at least when they break in to your house they can fix the door when they leave Sorry to hear that btw MF. As i say it's easy for me (anyone) to say this or that should be done but until you are put in that position you never really know.

Just signed up with a personal trainer. 12 week of hell doesn't start for a week or so hence I just had a sausage, bacon & bean buttie.

Hopefully. While we may not sign the 3 players mooted, 2 that can challenge the first team plus the ability to bring one in during Jan would be good. Think we'll bring in 2 though of that quality? Hmmm, not sure.
-
No I dont have the answers and I've not thought it thoroughly. You make a fair point about their family tbf. Bring back chain gangs tbh. Get all these pot holes in roads fixed as well. Still, whats the point of jailing someone for 30 years for murder. Their family lose them anyway and what about the family of the victim? Actually, maybe tie up the murderer and let the family "talk" to them for 10mins.

Give them a chance, rehabilitate them. Blah blah. Do it once, fine bang them up and then give them one more chance. After that, fuck them. How many times do we hear of someone getting out and reoffending immediately. Personally I'd bring back capital punishment for crimes involving murder. I'd then remove all privileges for then next tier down of crime. I don't want prison to be an inconvenience, I'd want even the hardest of men to be scared to be put in there. I mean come on, just how hard is it to be a decent human and live by reasonable laws? Extreme it may be, but ask someone who had their child murdered if I'm wrong.
