I saw Steven Taylor in Nandos in The Gate

Local bookies here are running an 'Alan Par-doomed' special, odds of 7/1 on us going down until 5.30pm Liverpool are in to evens now. Probably the best you'd get before the weekend. -1 is probably 2/1. Couldn't bet against us though. I'll stick to the profitable thing of backing Barca and Real -1 or 2, seems to win most weeks!!

He is an absolute class act and a real find by Hughton/scouting team.

It was one of those 'still slightly drunk from the night before' ones that I thought had no chance. I was roaring at Koscielny to foul Ranger at the end

Andy Carroll 1-0. €5 @ 200/1

Wouldn't say Kerr was terrible for Ireland. Tactically got it wrong once or twice and was slightly naive. He's done well with the Faroe Islands however. And as has already been pointed out, he is a fantastic coach. Wouldn't be the worst appointment.

Its looking like 3 home defeats in a row against teams we would hope to be beating. And 3 out of 4 home defeats. Not good at all.

Perch is awful. He was nowhere to be seen.

I wonder what that means for our 25 game option. Brown envelope from Ashley to De Jong

http://www.easports.com/media/play/video/39637910 Scored that gem with Carroll. I also out of boredom added the local hero music when the teams walk out at SJP

Shola will start and have a shocker. Always happens after he does something decent.
-
What also normally happens is that he gets put in from the start in the following game and has an absolute mare

Saturday Midday on Soccer Saturday.

Finished my first season as NUFC last week (first time I've played FM with them in years). 100 points, top basically all season, although I had a couple of horrible spells of form. Notable signings were Macheda and Tafer on loan and the excellent James Rodriguez in midfield. Joey Barton managed 13 assists from midfield and scored a couple. Absolute nightmare trying to get rid of the high paid shite in the squad. Sold Jonas at the start as I don't normally use wingers. Ameobi would only leave if I paid most of his wages at his new club. Same for Nolan, Raylor. Guthrie and Coloccini. Pre-season before the return to the Premier League and a miracle, Man City make an offer for Coloccini! So that was him gone. Then Birmingham come in for Ameobi. Can't believe my luck, he accepts their offer. Everton come in for Guthrie a few days later! Still couldnt get shot of Nolan though. Initial transfer budget was £6.75m. With adjustments and lowering the wage bill along with getting a few pound in for players, it gets increased to well over £40m. Players in Mancienne 4m (48months) Michael Dawson 3.2m van Bommel 1m van der Vaart 5.75m (48 months) Rodwell 17.25m (48 months and clauses) Kevin Doyle 12m (48months) Vieira free Martin Palermo 700k van Aanholt 2.5m N'Gog Loan Loaned someone else in but I can't for the life of me remember who it is Some decent buys there I'm sure you will agree. Already made a promising start, sitting seconod after 6 games. My only defeat a 1-0 loss at Bramall Lane after battering Sheff Utd for most of the game. Out of the League Cup after a bad 3-1 defeat away to Swansea however.

Bosnia and Norway double if you think Portugal and France will struggle again. €10 returns €84.

The thing about Ireland is that we definately do not have the players but the manager has got a rigid system that he has drilled into the players heads and they stick to it. We are hard to beat (one competitive defeat under Trapattoni) but can't hold onto a lead. People say Keane only scores in the 'easy' games but 41 goals in 101 caps is a huge haul in a team that has been largely rubbish over the last 10 years. If we were to play Scotland over 2 legs I would go for us to win narrowly. I wish the manager decided to blood in McCarthy or use Fahey more instead of calling up Paul Fucking Green. Awful player. Seamus Coleman should be getting more of a look in ahead of Paul McShane, who is the worst footballer I think I've ever seen. On the thing about producing players, the League of Ireland is ridiculously weak, whereas the Croation league for example, would be a lot stronger throughout the divisions. Same goes for Wales. At least Scotland has a bit of a better standard, so out of the 3 nations, perhaps Scotland are underachieving.

That Henry is a dirty bastard, but they were all at it. And the BBC boys having a laugh about it, quality punditry! Fair play to Barton for keeping his cool, just a shame that one tackle which probably wasn't as bad as any he was victim of, gets him booked.

It looked like both arms "jerked", not just the one that caught Proctor.

We have a bit of a habit of not performing too well after a big win don't we? I'll go for 1-0 or 2-0 us, Ameobi to get one if he starts.
