With that sort of performance in an all or nothing game where status in the supposed top league in the world is at stake, the majority of that team deserved nothing, absolutely fucking nothing. The players have shown spirit, although its taken them and Shearer 45 mins in each game to get things going a bit better, I reckon that if he starts things right ie. not 3 at the back and with Viduka and Martins hopefully fit enough to start on Monday night, it could set us up for a vital win. Its just a bit rough that a potential bruising at Liverpool could hurt us badly.
