  1. I've read somewhere that all 20 Premier League stadia will be in the game. Not sure about SJP though.
  2. Any Championship teams in and around north London? Watford?
  3. ffs even I was on about flying over for this one
  4. No listening to that Craig Burley cunt for at least a season!
  5. We can't say anything about how we do next season for now. Unless of course, the majority of those players today are still at the club, which will mean that we are well and truly fucked.
  6. With that sort of performance in an all or nothing game where status in the supposed top league in the world is at stake, the majority of that team deserved nothing, absolutely fucking nothing. The fans are an absolute fucking credit, whatever about twats saying we're all delusional, that display after and through most of the match just shows what the support is really all about.
  7. Chelsea: Cech, Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Terry, Ashley Cole, Essien, Mikel, Belletti, Malouda, Drogba, Anelka. Subs: Hilario, Di Santo, Ballack, Sinclair, Kalou, Mancienne, Stoch. At least Potato is putting a strong team out.
  8. Carrolls out injured with an ankle injury. Wonder what the odds of Smith coming on and scoring a winner are? 0/1? edit - taken from the .co.uk, blame them. 0/1 sounds about right for Smith
  9. Edgar? Balls, I'd a fiver on Andy Carroll to be the hero and get the last goal at 9/1. Man U have Kuzchak (sp) in goal, Rafael, Neville and Brown at CB, some left back I've never heard of, Lee Martin, Fletcher, Gibson, Nani, Macheda and Welbeck. Edit - Guti starting and on the bench?
  10. 2 hours... christ I'm dreading this. I'm even watching SPL to try not to think about it but its not working. So I'm gonna have to play a bit of UFC until kick off. Its too much.
  11. I went in the Villa end twice. We won both. First time David Batty hit the winner on a Sunday afternoon in January 98 I think... I cheered, bad decision. 2nd time was late 99, Duncan Ferguson came off the bench to head home for our first away win of the season. I stayed quiet that time Reading back on that I should really try for the Villa end this weekend.
  12. I reckon the SMB will get a draw tonight which could be just about enough for them. We'll be level with Villa and late on either Hull will score to survive, or Villa will get a late winner
  13. You're bloody excited about this Jim This and UFC out this summer, oh yes!
  14. I'd love to just win on Saturday and hope everyone else around us loses again, just to have this over with. I don't want to have to go away to Villa needing something. BTW the game on Saturday is live on Setanta Ireland for the Irishers in here.
  15. Dundalk won 1-0 at the weekend, up to 6th (out of 10) after 11 games. Big derby away to Drogheda United (former mags Joe Kendrick and Guy Bates were with them a couple of years ago) on Friday night.
  16. Southgate crying that Viduka jumped into his man for Martins goal
  17. Thought Duff had a great game at left back. Butt wasteful when he has to pass further than 4 yards AGAIN. Ok thats that negatives over with, what a fcuking result. Lets take that momentum into Saturday and make the Villa game a typical nothing to play for end of season game.
  18. And SSN already had Pogatetz and Riggot out, if that's true they're going to be a bit short on defenders hopefully. Cue the fantastic, heroic defensive display from the depleted smog defence...
  19. I can see us getting 5 points... but only if we beat the smog on Monday night, and that in itself is a huge ask, the way things have been going.
  20. This. No one there to grab the game and do something.
  21. Its all set up for us now on Monday night. Its up to the boys to prove they can do it, because closing the gap has been left on a plate for them.
  22. Oh no, all the Sunderland jersey's in Ireland will be binned for Ipswich ones.
  23. The more I think about it, the more I grow in belief. Still at a very low rate but its growing. Hull are falling. Pompey and Blackburn are still there. Boro are liable to capitulate again. The players have shown spirit, although its taken them and Shearer 45 mins in each game to get things going a bit better, I reckon that if he starts things right ie. not 3 at the back and with Viduka and Martins hopefully fit enough to start on Monday night, it could set us up for a vital win. Its just a bit rough that a potential bruising at Liverpool could hurt us badly.
