Is that the best you could do? ... thought so.
  2. A Football did exist before the premiershit came along. B We have been run in a self sufficient manner for years now unlike FFS mountain of debt he was accumulating. C You get those gates because you are a one horse town with a bigger stadium. D Our history of success far outstrips and recent "success" you may have had in KKs first stint. We are a far bigger club than Newcastle. Not that it matters anyway. All that matters is what you have won. A very very bitter young man ... but you get that at small clubs. I'll never forget Moyes's reaction when Rafa called them a small club. Don't be defensive Danny, take it on the chin.
  3. That`s what I thought too ... must be a mistake. Public transport is wank, health is horrid, food is gash, criminality is rife, corruption is rampant and you can't find a waste bin to save your life. Good boozing and floozies though! And theres a giant needle in the middle of O'Connell Street I've never liked Dublin, spend time in it almost every day. Its expensive, dirty in places, and just not worth the over inflated prices for everything (€5-6.00 for a pint in places). And whats worse now is that we're supposedly in recession, so a lot of housing developments are being left only half finished, making it look a whole lot worse. Give me my shitty little border town any day I've visited a good few times and like it a lot. The part 'outside Dublin' is fantastic despite a few shortcomings. Considered moving there for a while but just couldn't hack the climate. What part 'outside Dublin' do you mean? The rest of the country!
  4. Now that Newcastle are ofically the fifth biggest ... who do you guys feel is number 6? Villa, Everton or Citeh/Other?

  7. I'm not. It is a real probability though.
  8. I must be honest in saying that it's a while since I was there and didn't see as much as I would have liked.

  10. ....or could it be that your stock of strikers is about to be depleted in a new cost-cutting measure!
  11. The standard of living one would have there. So, education, health, public transport, employment, cultural & public amenities, criminality, architecture, pollution, weather, surroundings etc ... There were 3 Swiss cities in the top 10 worldwide this year. http://www.citymayors.com/features/quality_survey.html
  12. US firm confirms link to Magpies By Saj Chowdhury American investor InterMedia Partners has confirmed it was approached regarding a possible takeover of Newcastle United. Reports this week suggested that representatives of club owner Mike Ashley met with counterparts from the New York-based private equity firm. "InterMedia was approached about a deal, made no offer and has no interest," a spokesman told BBC Sport. On Friday, Newcastle dismissed the claims as "absolute nonsense". It is not known who made the approach to InterMedia. 606: DEBATE Ashley secured a £134.4m takeover of Newcastle last summer and has since ploughed around £100m into the club to address the debt situation he inherited and to strengthen the squad. The owner of sports goods company Sports Direct International also brought back popular manager Kevin Keegan to St James' Park to replace Sam Allardyce. However, despite his investment, both on and off the field, rumours suggesting that he is looking to sell the Magpies at the right price have refused to go away. Story from BBC SPORT:
  13. I mentioned Sunderland and Liverpool already just to get it outta the way!
  14. its kinda interesting ... thanks for posting it.
  15. Ever make many friends at school? Sure ... I`m quite lovable really (not in a gay BarryW way though).
  16. I would say there`s some truth in this as it won`t seem to go away and it could be good for the club. This mass denial is great ... haven`t seen it in such abundance since Heysel.
  17. If anybody pays 420 mil for it they're completely off their rocker.
  18. I think you lot get very similiar media coverage to us.
  19. What utter horseshit btw. Utter, utter, horseshit.
