how is it not an option? I've blocked him and i can honestly say i don't notice not being able to see what he's written, isn't there an LM post generator for that? as for the bit in bold, i'm a 3+ year poster and i can tell you the discussion is an obvious symptom of the decline caused by LM, piss or get off the pot already.....and don't call me shirley
-
wheres the" i dont give a fuck because he's on ignore" camp? seriously the should we/ shouldn't we ban banter is as tedious as the man himself
-
putting him on ignore has made all the difference lately, enjoying the place much more than say the first two months of the year which was ridiculously overshadowed by LM's one trick circus, same argument ad nauseum
-
knock on wood or something man.....thats the very definition of hubris

agreed, and he's making diagonal runs which pulls the defenders out of position and creates space for others

did anyone else hear one of the commentators say " this type of play is really establishing Newcastle as a geniune mid-table team.....blahblah" (or something like that) really fucking pissed me off, since when is 4th fucking midtable, they seem unable to give us credit where it's due.

So who actually thinks we will finish 4th?

police currently looking for this guy.......he/she should buy a lottery ticket

Aye but if they win the whole thing then 4th no longer gets CL. agreed but i think they have slim to no chance of beating barca, but they are more likely to play a strong side if they are up by a goal than if they are down by 4-5.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/story/2012/04/17/environment-fracking-earthquake-studies.html Two separate studies are providing insights into the earth-shaking consequences of the controversial gas extraction process known as fracking. Both studies confirm that hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, can trigger manmade earthquakes. The process involves blasting water, sand and chemicals deep into the ground to fracture rock to obtain oil and natural gas. Energy companies are increasingly using the technique across Canada, where there is already regular seismic activity and an ever looming threat of various sized tremors. The U.S. Geological Survey is set to release its findings Wednesday that a "remarkable" increase of quakes in the U.S. midcontinent since 2001 is "almost certainly" the result of oil and gas production. U.K. experts, meanwhile, point to a study released Monday that found recent earthquakes in northwest England were caused by fluid injection into a nearby fault zone as evidence fracking can be safe when conducted by responsible operators. The consultants' report, commissioned by the U.K. government and published on Tuesday recommends that fracking should be halted temporarily if there is a tremor greater than magnitude 0.5 on the Richter scale. Cuadrilla Resources, a company that halted its fracking activities in northwestern England following tremors of magnitudes 2.3 and 1.5 in April and May last year, has said that is acceptable. Opposition to fracking has ramped up since the release of the 2010 documentary "Gasland," which shows residents of small town Colorado setting alight tap water they charge was soured by nearby oil industry activity.

the states are surreal.....and wildly diverse, and they are easy to make generalisations about (correct or percieved) since their way of life is so pervasive throughout the media. when i lived there i met lots of really nice people and lots of fucking idiots, hard to put 'em all in one basket. PL is right though california and NYC are unlike anywhere else in the states....wyoming (cheny's home state) is fucking scary.

The proper name of what most the world call "football" and the Americans call "soccer" is association football. The word "soccer" comes from an alteration of "assoc.", which is an abbreviation of "association football" (as opposed to Rugby or Gaelic football, etc). The use of the term can be traced back to about 1880: it's documented as soccer or socca in 1889, and socker in 1891. Soccer seemed have become the most common phrase by 1895. Originally it was only university slang; it was habitual for English university students in the 1880s to abreviate any word and then add on 'er' or 'ers' to it (so breakfast became brekkers, or rugby became ruggers). Because this linguistic habit belonged to an elite social group is probably why the name soccer never caught on among the masses in most of the world. Perhaps it would never have caught on in the United States, except that Americans already had their own preferred 'football' game. so you guys came up with name not north americans.
