I’m not sure what the crack with Everton is but they should be sanctioned just for a laugh. Make them play in business suits or something or release a new dog onto the pitch every 5 minutes. -

Aye, I didn’t mind some of the stuff on the 4th album and watched them again when they had the bloke from the Black Crowes drumming. Since then they’ve been pretty shite. Actually went to see Kelly Jones solo in York opera house when he released a solo album which was primarily about dead prostitutes. He had a string quartet and did a few phonics songs with them after the prozzie stuff. Pretty decent.

Stereophonic’s supported by Feeder in 2001! I’d never heard feeder before but was hooked as they were awesome. Phonic’s were absolutely class at the time too, I was probably about 13ish, so hearing loud guitars was an instant “fuck I want to do this”.

Speaking to my Russian mate it’s mainly “the older generation” that are for the “operation”. They’re fans of Putin because he saved them from the breadline, however this war will bring it back. He’s my age and spent his life between Durham & Russia, now he lives in London. He basically said it’s bad for Russia, bad for Ukraine & bad for the world. Ultimately he doesn’t see the point in it, even if they won the war in 3 days and got their puppet government. What’s the point? I don’t think it’s as cut & dry politically as what our media is telling us, however Russia doesn’t really have a media.
