Yeh they can be incredible if you get the right one. The “money scale” for guitars doesn’t actually translate into a decent playable guitar. Best guitar I ever played was a Squier 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have. Direct experience in fact, one of the best guitars I ever owned was a Mexican telecaster which I regret selling every single day. Depends on the age of it but they’re generally very good guitars, you’ll get a lot out of it. You could drop it off a building, set fire to it, smash it through a coffee shop window and it’d probably still be in tune. If the price is right, buy it,
