An interesting yardstick for Longstaff is Declan Rice. Longstaff at one point looked the better player. These days Rice is an absolute Rolls Royce of a footballer & Longstaff can barely muster any interest.

Personally I’d like to see them pull through 👍

Looking at it objectively I’d say we’re going down. I just can’t see us suddenly starting to perform, even when we play well the result escapes us one way or another. I’m not sure exactly what the problem is, certainly personnel for a start, the spine of the team has to be one of the weakest in the league. Also despite an apparent attacking philosophy we can’t seem to buy a goal & more often than not when we do score it’s not borne out of a system of play but individual brilliance which isn’t sustainable & certainly not something we can rely on.

Longstaff did look excellent at times. At this point you have to question the attitude of the player. It looks like he’s taking the whole thing for granted & he’s lost his fight and desire. He’s just coasting through & at this level that attitude gets exposed very quickly.

I think Big Dunc would frighten some performances out of them. Rooney however….

I think both the SE and S2 ranges are absolutely class mind. I looked at the Mcarty models for a while and they look class across along all ranges. There’s still that thing in the back of your head however, where you spend £1800-2000 on a guitar and it’s not a “proper one”.

I was playing last night quite late on and I was bang into it before I remembered my neighbours exist. 100% pulling the trigger on the Waza’s at the end of the month I emailed the Manson custom shop and they’re FULL for 2022 so unless some special editions crop up I’m just gonna keep putting some money aside for the custom shop job…..UNLESS I pull the trigger on something else in the meantime but nothing is jumping out at the moment.
