On behalf of myself & the other admins and I would like to thank our Patreon Members & regular members for a very successful year for the board. in recent times it looked like we may not survive, or that'd we'd struggle to be the board we know and love. Our members are what keeps us going & what separates us from Social media or other message boards. We have some great characters, whether we're talking about football, politics, music or whether we stand or sit to wipe our arses. The other day I was quite shocked when I read the profile of someone I'd regarded as a 'newer' member only to be surprised that they'd been here for over a decade! Toontastic Patreon was set up to help us run and pay for the board. The amount this costs can fluctuate for a number of different reasons, such as software, hosting, licences and Andrew buying guitars. However, thanks to the generosity of our members It quickly became apparent that more often than not we'd have surplus income at which point we took the decision to run as a non profit organisation and donate our surplus funds to a charity of the patreon memberships choice. Initially the idea was an annual charity donation voted on by the membership. However events at the around the world and at the football club prompted us to make to earlier donations to British Red Cross Yemen (£75) & British Red Cross Ukraine (£75). This year we had some wonderful suggestions for charities to donate to, however our runaway winner was Newcastle West End Foodbank! This afternoon we were able to make a donation of £500. Before the recent Cost of Living Crisis orchestrated by the Conservative Government life was already tough enough for a vast amount of families across the country, especially the often neglected north east. This money will make a difference to people's lives & hopefully their Christmas! Once again, thank you to everyone who made this possible! Much like the football club, We go into the next year stronger, smarter and better looking than ever. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. Thomas, Martin, Andrew - Rayvin & Monkeys Fist 👊🏻

The Parsnip Echo chamber must feel like some kind of Daliesque mackem hellscape. No room for debate just MLF absolutes & distortions. Lee Cattermole with Bart Simpsons head blows some smoke from his vape, it forms the shape of a ship before drifting into the form of a mark lammar quiffed man taking a shite on the glass factory roof, across the wasteland under a cloud of blue pop vapour, Stuart Donald and Mr Meth Van collect the Nobel peace prize

Wasnt is purely because we were playing Bilbao at home and then it turned out Bilbao made a massive fuss over us & continue to do so unprompted. The attention they are absolutely desperate for but never get.

Sunderland is an inherently sinful, blasphemous town & is possibly responsible for our late monarchs final resting place, hell. A city has a cathedral, as god ordained. Sunderland "city" has a "minister" only it's not a minister (like York, which is a cathedral) Sunderland minister is a parochial church, they just changed the name a few years after the town won the name raffle. Satanic. Tourism wise.... there's a Glass Factory! Who wouldn't want to see how glass is made, it'll surely inspire kids growing up in a region bereft of industry. Kwik-Fit - actually necessary if you've had to drive round their 1970s death trap roads, although you may be better off abandoning the vehicle and jumping on the nearest metro to a safe space. Gregg's there are several thousand Gregg's in the town. Which is necessary, it's a famous name, even in rascalry and you wouldn't want to risk anything local. The Sunderland Eye Hospital, much like Middlesbrough inspired Blade Runner, the eye hospital inspired various horror movies including the video game franchise Resident Evil. The Airshow - watch the air show from the comfort of Newcastle International with a pint of a coffee OR go mad max and risk crowd violence by going to Sunderland.

I tried to get tickets for me and the cousin but literally couldn't. Bournemouth. In the league cup. In December. It's beginning to look a lot like sportswashed 🎶🎶🎶

Remember when they used the "wedding season" excuse Meanwhile we've sold out Bournemouth at home in the league cup...IN THE SAME COLD WEATHER

Kingston park is a wonderful place to watch Newcastle Women. Owing to some bizarre loophole you can have a pint in the stands. They get great crowds too, Wolves are top of the division above like so we were always going to get a hiding. However if they want to spend their weekends getting wound up that local women are paid properly to play sports & invested in then that's up to them.

I like it. Very Keegan/ASICS. I won't be buying it like The only sporting goods I buy now are golf related. Which I am shit at.

@Renton That's about the same as people I've spoken to. Even a mackem or two have told me they'd easily accept that kind of money. Fitting seeing as we were sitting watching a World Cup in Qatar.
