Its all to do with the company flogging your personal details, address, email, name etc. in bulk to other comapnys. Obviously they pay quite highly for this. And the fact you need 15 referals means a lot of the time people give up with 10 and forget about it, meaning the company have flogged 10 peoples details for free. At the end of it, if you stick it out, you get a free ps3 and the company still ends up with a profit. and i end up with a bit more shit in my junk emails. i can live with that.
