On the contrary, i believe it is alex who is trying to claim the upper hand cos he lives alone. I lived in Leeds for 3 years and America for 6 months. I still prefer to live at home. When i decide which job to take this year il look into getting a mortgage. As it is I have a decent NHS pension well under way, i live within walking distance of all of my friends and girlfriend and i have plenty of expendable income. But you are right, i live at home so i am in fact a loser.

and? Im 24, with a full time job and my only expenses are my car. You on the other hand get to pay a mortgage, council tax, gas bill, water bill, electric bill, tv licence etc. etc. Whos the winner there?
