No one in the football media is willing to admit that they consider Arsenal to be more entitled to a player of Isak’s quality than Newcastle are. They can say they’re just repeating what Arsenal fans are saying with a degree of justification but they know deep down it’s about that word; “entitled” … Arsenal are entitled to have world class footballers in a way Newcastle aren’t . And if Newcastle just luck upon someone of that quality they must immediately be sold to the likes of Arsenal. That’s just the world they live in and it’s killing them all, media and fans alike, that it’s not the case this time round.

That’s weird as fuck. Went to look at a job in Southampton last week, this young lass who signed me in was wearing a black and white shield shaped lapel badge. So with complete disregard for PC niceties I moved in for a closer look….it was then I correctly identified that it was the badge of Santos FC, Pele’s old club. She was super impressed, and i told her my club was partly Brazilian black and white too. She then talked excitedly about Bruno for 10 mins or so. Turns out her mother was Brazilian from Santos and her old man was from Dublin. I got the distinct impression that she’d forgotten more about modern football than I’ll ever know, sort of like The Fish but a lot more charming with nice eyes I’d agree that would be a canny tie in for us in the South American market. Put some money into their scouting system. Fuckin Dango Ouatarra’s hat trick at the weekend came all the way from Lorient in France where that club is owned by Black Knight fc, who ironically also own AFC Bournemouth

Had some fuckin twats behind us loudly slating every single player if they as much as stood still for about the first hour yesterday. Then all the old songs started getting rolled out; Collocini, David Kelly etc etc which they lustily joined in with. All the while Southampton had all the possession and our midfield was visibly whilting. Then they scored (their disallowed goal) and these pricks started screeching “eeeh it’s not fuckin ovah man what the fuck are yees daein man?!??!” Their main target throughout was predictably Murphy

Not seen much of the aftermath of Tonali’s goal, just Bruno on his back….they then proceeded to break the steward cordon and almost ended up in the first row of the stand with the rest of the team and about 100 fans on top of them, it was fuckin bedlam and it was fuckin beautiful ☺️ hopefully matchcam (do they do it at away games?? ) will show it because there was a cameraman about 3 feet away filming it all. Thought we looked tired again in the second half, Gordon was paggered when Bruno and Isak were taken off and he went up top for 5 mins before the second changes were made. If we’re not bringing anyone in I’d be loath to let anyone go tbh. The offer for Miggy has to make a real difference to PSR, same goes for Kelly. Games like yesterday and at the Emirates prove our proper resilience (if not properly high skill levels) from the bench. We can grind games out and if Isak continues to nick goals v the better sides we’re going to face next month that’s important. Fuck knows who they’re thinking of to replace Murphy but the price required in spite of his glaring deficiencies as a player is going up weekly. If he’s replaced in the summer but stays in the squad that will be next seasons #NUFC social media main punch up 👊🏻
