  1. that's because I don't set myself up as some sort of Temu Nostradamus 😊
  2. Yeah well you didn't see that coming either did you?
  3. That will be upmost in the thoughts of the supporters and Eddie Howe. But neither us nor he are the money men...
  4. I think hes failed to understand the intricacies of UEFA mysticism
  5. @ewerk why can't we get Almaty? I've got flights in three different baskets ...
  6. The draw is 4 x groups of 8, teams play two from each group including their own
  7. Get your speedos and knuckleduster packed
  8. Almaty put Celtic out on pens, we're bound to get them, get flights booked early here 👀
  9. Has Graeme Bailey ever got a thing right?
  10. I agree. However if we don't get clever in some way we're stuck in 4-7th place perpetually with the odd challenge for 2nd-3rd and going far in the cups..it'll probably do for me but it's a bit disheartening when you see what nothing more skillful than fortunate timing has acheived for the likes of Chelsea and Man City..
  11. Strasbourg are also owned by Blue Co. We're at least a decade behind this sort of set up tbh. It's this sort of thing that gets me down and PIF seem only half interested....
  12. What is he shagging her?...
  13. These are the cunts... Richard Sharp: The former BBC chairman (until April 2023) was a Conservative Party donor and had links to former Prime Minister Boris Johnson and current Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. Sir Robbie Gibb: A former Downing Street communications director for the Conservative Party, joined the BBC Board in 2021 as the board member for England. Tim Davie: The current Director-General of the BBC, unsuccessfully stood as a Conservative Party candidate in local elections in 1993 and 1994.
  14. Got to admit, as soon as Etikike scored last night I deleted X The whole Isak thing has been making me look at it far too much. I'll probably go back after the window closes . Maybe not though...
  15. 4 MPs and they get peak time breakfast news coverage across the state broadcaster to advertise their proposed ICE tribute act for an election 4 years away The BBC have learned precisely fuck all from the Brexit campaign....or those running it would be quite keen on a form of totalitarianism for the UK in the near future
  16. I think you're largely right but if it doesn't get done by Sunday and 130 mill is dangled on Monday.... PIF understand money, but given their inability to get execs in place/correct appointments and no news of training ground/stadium upgrades and sponsorship opportunities, maybe football not so much? ... remember the Andy Carroll transfer to who was it again?...
  17. I think Hope's source for everything at the club is Reuben. Felt like it during the Sesko bid and yesterdays trip to Isak's "home" (he's plainly not at Darras Hall any longer) just confirmed it. So this meeting was either without Yasir's permission (he doesn't go around footballers' homes to beg fuckin anything ) or it's a PR exercise and he will move for £130mill this week with or without add ons or a replacement in place
  18. Long term it would have an affect. Seeing as we've made an official offer for 3?4? players this season who have opted for other financially bigger clubs we've got to be realistic about who is and isn't likely to sign.... we can't completely cut our nose to spite our face. That's fuckin stupid.
  19. Yeah there's far too much money involved for everyone to just "let him rot" thats patently not happening and he'll leave in the next 4 months very likely for Liverpool. If we somehow get two strikers in before next Tuesday he'll go this window. If not a loan abroad would be best for all concerned. New 12 month deal with get out clause is unpalatable but not uncommon; Shearer got a new deal off the back of not joining Liverpool when they came in for him and Robson/Shepherd turned it down, you're compensated for the lost opportunity of a pay rise..
  20. Exactly right. We've dominated them in midfield in the last two games due to our pace and running in midfield, not because Dan Burn scares Konate witless and Bruno and Murphy destroy Liverpool right backs at will
