  1. In the scenario you're painting there the attacker is onside. It's a lot more black and white and in keeping with the spirit of the rules. The attackers entire body would need to be offside, not just his toe . Then there's no need for different zones or any other fuckin old pony...
  2. Whole body daylight, ie a clear view between all parts of the attackers body and the last defender? ....
  3. Yeah the ref/linesman on the pitch see it in real time but the principle that the VAR goon can slow it down to 1/1000 of a second is a sick joke.
  4. If your arm, leg or foot is currently viewed as offside that should be onside. The 90s guidance of daylight was spot on..The current guidance of the big toe of your right foot etc is fuckin bollocks and completely against the spirit of the rules as they were when they were established. Again, the guidance has been changed to suit the technology available nowadays. It's blatant fuckin nonsense.
  5. You gave me the saints @sammynb mate, I saw Courtney Barnett in Bristol and she came on to do backing vocals for the support Big Nasty when they covered this, I’d never heard of it or them at the time but I asked you on here what it might be & now I’ve got the first two albums and listened to the rest and Ed Kuepper’s solo stuff etc… cheers mate, RIP Chris…
  6. At least 3 pundits said we'd fucked up and Burnley had the better player
  7. Sold their centre forward to a relegation rival in January.
  8. It strongly suggests to me that Sunak’s camp are the source of of all the Partygate evidence that may yet get Johnson the sack (unlikely) . That’s why there were removal vans at no. 11 yesterday morning. Sunak stabbed the man who is not only his boss but also his neighbour in the back and being ex Goldman Sachs and a partner in several hedge fund firms he can’t bare to see his unstoppable rise to the top being halted by a gurning yeti who is surprising good at Roman history and regularly throws in a Latin phrase or two in order to charm the plebs
  9. Ginola also had his head turned by Barca and Keegan wouldn't let him go iirc
  10. That positively reeks of Paul Stretford and Kenny Shepherd. Souness, for all his blatant faults, suffered from players being brought into the club to make money for the company the Chairman's son was working for. And obviously the Chairman's son got his cut too
  11. Well...its a point of view I suppose....
  12. It's that time in the season, every 3 months or so, when somebody gives Southampton an absolute fuckin hammering
  13. When someone shows you who they are, beleive them...
  14. First race @ Aintree today...got to be worth a quid each way? 😆
  15. I sent this to my Everton mate and he said they'll be gone before then anyway...they're pretty much resigned to their fate...
  16. To be fair it's wholly inaccurate, Barry was a noted regular at The Hawthorns in the mid-late 70s
  17. Shes plainly entirely living in the UK though, she is still liable to pay tax to the UK exchequer regardlessof where she earns her money. Non Dom status costs 30k a year, so if she's paying that I imagine she's saving millions...
  18. The usual suspects who have an fuckin coronary over the tax status and practices of Lewis Hamilton and Jimmy Carr are strangely quiet this morning...some imbeciles suggesting that as its legal there's nothing wrong...This couple have plainly had a chat about this, should've been when he entered parliament, should definitely have been had when Sunak became head of the exchequer his wife, living with him at the HM Governments grace and favour residence at 11 Downing Street, is point blank refusing to contribute to despite having lived in the UK for 15 years . They probably thought they'd get away with it, and they're probably right...
  19. Don't be harsh on yourself man....
