  4. Ryan Fraser scores for an improving Scotland side.
  5. I quite liked it too....I think Hen Ogledd means "the old land of my father's" in Welsh...it's the title of the song the sing before rugby & football matches in Cardiff
  6. Fuckin irrelevant. Nowt changes on the planet to any great extent till mass vaccination.....life is going to continue to be so hard for millions of people. A two/three week lockdown sounds good but how do we come out if that one? It’s the same shit.
  7. Two negative tests required apparently....
  8. Whitty said last night that these tiers wouldn’t work...so Johnson is literally not following the science...
  9. Just what Starmer has asked for....if Johnson ignores him & things get worse, Johnson looks like a cunt, if Johnson does it (round half term?) it was Starmer’s idea...
  10. There wasn’t many NUFC supporters disgusted by the potential takeover of their club by one of the worst regimes on the planet. Those that did and raised their head above the social media parapet were fuckin annhilated by fellow Mags. We, as a fan base, are in no position to look down our noses at any clubs fans who welcome this new fuckin nonsense from Man U & Liverpool. They’ll be on their own forums pissing themselves laughing at the fume this move has caused, just like we were.
  11. He was great in universal soldier but his stuff went down hill after that
  12. No just sat around playing 7 card brag the key thing is more a summer gig for us southern shandy drinkers
  13. Got a text from a mate this morning...he told us on Saturday his wife who is a nurse at Poole Hospital was getting a test....he's told us this morning shes positive for the virus. I spent 6 hours up the Labour Club with him on Saturday, the second time I've been up since March & his first time. We all, including his missus, feel fine. But we could have infected half of fuckin Dorset on Saturday night.......we'll see what happens...
  14. You know he's not a cockney then don't you cuntlugs?
  15. Gareth Southgate is from West Sussex you fuckin muppet
  16. So yanks want a closed shop with clubs holding all the power...wonder where they got that idea from? ..
  17. The current Mrs PL likes it very much and the first season was ok but it’s mawkish sentimentalism and constant moralising puts it in the Greys Anatomy department of sheer fuckin awfulness . If anyone else wants their mass market US drama critiqued by a monstrously hungover middle aged bastard please DM me. Flexible payment methods easoliy arranged, usually via Beerhawk
  18. FYI... the New Zealand basketball team are known as the Tall Blacks
  19. The auld @Kevin Carr's Gloves & his muckers tonight
  20. Is this finally when they get their way? I expect they’ve been wanting to charge for Saturday 3pm games since about....ooh...1992? Reckon when this bullshit is over the FA won’t try to stop it. Some venerable lower league clubs won’t survive to make a protest about it anyway.
  21. Do you think the EU will set up customs posts on the main routes from the Republic into NI to check lorries etc?
  22. Agree completely with this bit. The Borders have a Tory MP though for precisely the same reason the Loyalist majority population of Northern Ireland voted against Brexit. It going to be bad news for their specific area. As far as the Borders are concerned I'm concerned about the potential for trafficking of people and the likes of fuel smuggling etc and the types of people involved with these activities appearing where I was brought up.
  23. Yeah. Won't affect the central belt too much though. Would you care to comment on the likely effect on the Scottish Borders ? (and obvs North Northumberland) Some good historical background on this is what happened to the area after Berwick upon Tweed finally became English and was removed from its natural hinterland ie the Tweed Valley in the 1400s...create a hard border & you create problems...
