You’re plainly a good lad but I think you seriously over estimate the quality of the more seasoned posters on here (myself included )

Happy new year! 🥳

Happy new year you complete set of bastards 😀

I’ll inform my Italian sister in law of your opinions as to my acceptance of our cousins from the Penisola appenninica ….. Tbh when the Whyte & Mckay gets cracked open she’d probably agree with you

I wasn’t the only one as this thread suggests. He wasn’t blending at the time and I thought at times he looked a bit disinterested. The solution is brilliant and has been key to the huge upturn in form over the last month. He’s now the player his flashes of skill suggested he would be. “Never in doubt”

I said a loan back to Italy wouldn’t surprise me when he was looking like a lost sheep every time he wandered on to the pitch…. It’s fairly unlikely now….its not like I said he was definitely leaving on at least three separate occasions

Who said that?

Goldbridge is from Nottingham and wouldn’t know the Stretford End from his own bell end

Mice? 🤷🏻♂️ (not seen Gemmill’s cabin boy for a while )

The best “footballing” goalkeeper I’ve seen this season is Kepa Arrizabalaga… currently on loan at <checks notes> FUCKING BOURNEMOUTH!!…. He’s 30 and he signed an extension to his Chelsea contract last summer and it runs out at the end of next season. I don’t think there’s a chance we’d bring someone of his profile in even on loan. He’s doesn’t make a lot of mistakes and he often plays at the edge of his own area when his team have possession, pushing the whole team 5-10 yards further up the pitch. Fuck knows what Trafford is like this season but it looked like he had a lot to learn last season. If we get Europa League I’d let Pope and Dubs go and bring them both in..

TT legend @Happy Face (if you see this come and say hello, your stats were better than Gemmill and Dave put together) produced an “underachieving league table” and we were top by miles, I think Hamburg were second and Southampton third. It was basically lack of trophy x average crowd and we frankly piss it across the entire European continent

What the players who were all born at least a decade after the strike ended? The fans are indeed scab cunts and at the league cup game the doormen in the pubs our lot were drinking in before the game without a hint of bother wouldn’t let them in afterwards which was fuckin abysmal.

I was there. I am that soldier ☺️ We’re favourites tonight and that never, ever suits us regardless of owners, managers or players…but @Rayvin is right and it applies to Saturday as well… this is our chance to show we are better than the failing Man Utd or the frankly bizarre club that is Tottenham Hotspur.. we can show we belong in the elite with MCFC, LFC, CFC and AFC… Forest are a fuckin joy this season and our three points there and putting them out of the League Cup now look really solid results but it’s unlikely they’ll maintain this form unless they break PSR next month. It really is on these next two games as to what might happen in the rest of the season. Pivotal.

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER
PaddockLad replied to Sonatine's topic in Newcastle Forum
He’s only on loan at Marseille “The people’s club” have a history of singling out underperformers and making our own boo boys sound like the Von Trapp children… -
Ok, that definitely includes missing out on Barnes too then…or doing something mad like selling Bruno Forest narrowly missed the PSR target and were docked points. They’re now second. There’s a chance we wouldn’t even be in this division if we’d missed it by 60 mill

It was literally Ridsdale’s job to negotiate transfer fees. And it was Staveley’s too in our first couple of windows. I don’t remember too many complaints at the time. She may well have trod on Ashworth’s no doubt delicate toes which obviously isn’t ideal. But that’s just executive level politics, same at most corporate companies..

its 3 from those four without sales if we were putting say 10 mill down on each. Was it 30 mill we were short? Something like that. So we’d have had to raise that 30 mill by selling Longy, Miggy, Murphy etc etc… my point is the squad going into a champions league season would’ve been woefully short on numbers. And the same people whingeing about how shit we were round Christmas last year would’ve been moaning how shit we were in September
