In the pub afterwards some of their lads were saying they should've had a penalty at some point but I couldn't and can't remember anything that sticks out, the sky highlights reel suggest similar as there's nothing on it. They felt they were good for a point, I think Burton were better tbh but there again Burton didn't hit the post at one each so I guess they've got got room to feel a bit unlucky. We weren't very good again, but with half a side either injured, suspended or in Africa we still won. I think it's best summed up in my belief that we've got divi 2 players playing in divi 2. We can all pick out poor players, it's the usual suspects who will need an upgrade if we are to go up but Rafa's had one transfer window to sort nearly a decade of utter mediocrity from people who should never have had the power and positions they occupied under Ashleys stewardship. Just to add something a mate pointed out yesterday; there's a few promoted/promotion chasing teams seem to have a Murphy figure, a big lump who can score goals for fun at this level, Kermorgant at Reading did it at Bournemouth and Murray at Brighton. Darryl may end up being a very astute piece a business by Rafa.

Did Troops not mean is the game at risk of being postponed due to the weather? Am thinking there was a hard frost last night, there's another forecast for tonight and Griffin park doesn't have under soil heating..

Didn't know any of that. That chronicle article is a right tear jerker. Rip Graham, one of the good guys in the game

The reason he looked so fuckin shit at Cardiff v manu is he was the only one in midfield that day not hiding He wasn't great in any way for us but cowardice isn't really him iyam. There again, he did fuck off to Birmingham for a season..he probably knew what to expect the next season from the err "more emotional" elements of our support

One of them is apparently closing due to the forthcoming ground redevelopment, according to the Chelsea supporting native of Brentford at work Which one do you not want to meet in this time?

I'm also in attendance, Brentford still have terracing at the away end and a pub on all FOUR corners @@The Fish The Griffin - Located at the corner of Braemar Road and Brook Road.[52] The interior and exterior of the pub was used as a location in the 2004 film Green Street and is also visible in the 1954 film The Rainbow Jacket.[53][54] The Princess Royal - Located at the corner of Braemar Road and Ealing Road.[55] The New Inn - Located at the corner of New Road and Ealing Road.[56] The Royal Oak - Located at the corner of New Road and Brook Road.[57] https://www.theguardian.com/travel/interactive/2013/mar/15/brentford-football-club-pub-each-corner-interactive

FA Cup 3rd Round - Birmingham City v Newcastle
PaddockLad replied to wykikitoon's topic in Newcastle Forum
So that'll be two strikers we can't get the ball to then? I do sort of agree with you but I just don't think there's too much wrong. We've shown a full strength XI is more than good enough for this league but despite claims earlier in the season squad may not be as strong as some thought it was. The other side of that is Rafa is 3 months into a 3 year project and anyone either wanting or expecting keegan style football hasn't taken a lot of notice of him at his previous clubs. He's got a pragmatic, attritional style and he's unlikely to change too much. -

I'm not disputing that we could do with strengthening in most departments on the pitch but to suggest we've got a "glaring lack of cutting edge" is a blatant distortion. Because it's not perfect it doesn't meant that its total shit either. We're the highest scorers in England ffs. -
Sadly no job stateside for niggsy, instead he's going to a the new James Whale.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-38517624

My father in law gave me a load of his vinyl a while back and out of that lot I played led zep II last night, hadn't heard the whole thing all the way through for over a decade. Had completely forgot about "thank you", it just sort of popped up at the end of side one. I did a bit of reading up on the album and realised it was released the same week I was born....it still sounds brilliant...not sure if I'm wearing as well

If his Bournemouth concede in the next 10!mins he'll have cost me 70 quid...some game, afcb winning 3-2 after being 3 nowt up, they're down to 10 men (soft red) and Gosling has just done a cruyff turn in the box and almost chipped Cech -
