What did you get in the end @@The Fish?.....looking at doing similar to you soon and fancy an ultrabook myself but the lack of a cd/dvd drive on the latest ones is putting me off...I've seldom bought music through iTunes or Google play, I tend to buy CDs and upload them...an external drive is possible but it's a bit of a faff...any other recommendations greatly appreciated

I've just looked at gpb and thought it came out about 1990...turns out it was 97 Lost Boys is still in there for me though...I like the imdb theory that you can group together several films from the mid 80s with the same type of preppy middle class american actors and the films they made having a general theme of teenage angst/coming of age. -

I was 15 when it came out which is older than most on here but bang on bullseye target audience at the time. She started banging on about how they all "related" to each other blah blah blah... she didnt want to talk about Pedro or Davey Mac -

If you want to see it in the narrow terms of three maybe 4 films thats fine, it doesnt change the fact that the Breakfast Club is as weak as piss, as I told that Penny Oliphant at the time, and consequently I was seen as cool and edgy by my peer group. The rumour that I'd been disparaging about her taste in films only after she'd spurned my amorous advances was completely untrue -

Lost Boys is the last brat pack film iyam, Sutherland passing the torch on to Winter and Jason Patric....you don't need the whole ensemble to be associated with the err "genre" ...Ferris Bueller is in the same sort of vein, Grosse Point Blank.....I could go on...am not having fuckin Judd Nelson in the brat pack anyway...poodle haired cock rocker by nature... -

Leeds was insane. One of my favourite matches under Sir Bob. It's was either Sofia or Belgrade where the taxi drivers had pistols tucked into their belts?

29 days between the next two home games....release the figures early next week and there's nearly a month for "anger" to dissapate before spurs roll into town on the 19th April...

The point is both our leading and run of the mill clubs are, despite being the richest on the planet, well behind other countries elites and mostly have been for the past decade in the case of the likes of Manu and Chelsea etc and our shite is as shite ad their shite. What's Elches playing budget compared with Hull's?

So you're suggesting that the EU policy of free movement is being exploited more in the UK than anywhere else?....Is there a chance that's because the recruitment of skilled/semi skilled and non skilled manual labour had been handed on a plate to organised gangmasters in the shape of employment agencies a good decade and a half before Labour let the Poles in? My point is the conditions for the present situation were already in place and were nothing to do with the EU so the inherent casualisation of the labour force in the first place has had a greater effect than freedom of movement iyam.
-
well it's a bit chicken and egg then isn't it? We wouldn't have all these foreigners beating our doors down for jobs without hugely pliant labour laws in the first place and they're fuck all to do with the EU. Free movement into a market that is completely de regulated in the first place.
-
Not as much as the last two decades spent casualising huge swathes of the workforce in general iyam.
