Tonali was as bad as everyone else v Bournemouth and Fulham too. We do need to look at the players in the cold light of day tbh. And for that matter Howe. We’re in a great position. Maybe we don’t have enough of the cold eyed killers that will win a cup & get into the champions league; our financial position is almost certainly to blame for that. But that doesn’t explain the general lack of consistency we show. Is it just the absence of Botman and Joelinton at the moment?… we’ve played shite plenty of times with big Joe in the side this season too tbh. For me Botman should be the first name on the team sheet, we just look far more secure with him at the back regardless of formation as we showed v Arsenal in both games. I just have no idea which NUFC will turn up every time I see them. We’re like the schizophrenics of the premier league

This individual has the great good fortune of being my brother in law https://esc365.escardio.org/person/1314831 Hes had a recent referral from the private sector 😑 -
I have heard of such things… but where do I procure such riches? 🧐

19 visits and I think it’s 19 defeats. Tommy Wright and George Weah were both on the team sheet for Man City Bobby Robson was Newcastle Manager so am guessing Keegan may have been man city manager? Played at Maine Road. All that makes it sound like it was from another century, which it almost was… (this website used to be good but it’s now virtually un usable due to adverts 😕 ) https://www.11v11.com/matches/manchester-city-v-newcastle-united-30-september-2000-1735/

Gonzales was excellent. He just tidied up, plugged gaps, fetched and carried and allowed Gundogan and Foden to create. Kushanov was unflustered but tbf wasn’t up against much. He helped double team Isak a few times. Nothing much to say about Marmoush his quality is obvious to all. Three almost certainly transformative signings all playing very well two weeks after the end of the window v decent opposition, a window in which we sold two squad players. Right from kick off Foden went into the pocket and caused problems, no one seemed to know who was marking him. Not long after that Dan Burn raced out into midfield to challenge him when he was on the ball further back on the half way line. Foden looked a bit shocked but it never happened again after that, City took control and that was the extent of our “front foot” stuff. We visibly wilted. Isak started occupying the space Murphy usually exploits. Bruno disappeared and this time it was contagious, Tonali was seemingly struck by the same bug. One man can’t do it all obvs especially v the league champions. Joelinton and Botman need to be back in time for our visit to Anfield and remain fit for the final if we’ve to have any chance…

Well, am talking about the matchday fan nationality breakdown obvs. Half my family support Man City (mother from Ardwick Green/West Gorton) I had lunch with my cousin pre game in the Abel Heywood (I have cousins from Heywood too, but we don’t talk about them 🤐) and she’s a typical old skool city fan; sarcastic, bitter and hilarious with it

Well did you know that? Did you know Murdoch is complicit in coming up with thre red state/blue state shit via Fox News? Theyre all HOPING for a civil war so they can pick the carcasses of what is left behind. Did you know that? Did you punk?….

Kendzior suggests that the “red state/blue state” thing is deliberate. That’s how things will be divided when battle comes down…

So, Etihad roll call of plastics.. HUNDREDS of Chinese folk A PLETHORA of Irish SEVERAL Londoners (trying to stop referring to them as cockneys, it’s verging on geographically inaccurate racism and I’m old enough to know better) in sky blue going up the stairs into the station A COUPLE of hurdy-gurdy, hassen-fassen ya I’m form Oslo/Gothenburg etc etc ANECDOTALLY from overhearing a couple of semi posh city lads on the train: SOME FRENCHMEN!!!! 🤯 These are Liverpool to all intents and purposes, a stadium full of tourists with locals priced out

Wifi at at Etihad is fuckin AMAZING 🤩 I knew we’d get twatted as soon as you posted this, your in built off hand confidence is very endearing but unlike any other NUFC supporter I’ve ever come across. I hope you didn’t get a valentines ride last night and that your hoverboard has run out of charge when you wanted to nip out for the bread and milk, ya cunt 😑

So todays journey to Manchester via our friends at Cross Country is infinitely worse than last weeks abomination… there are people refusing to get up from booked seats everywhere. Am fairly certainly am about to see a fight right in front of me between two couples around my age…. I can’t beleive the cunts who aren’t moving, talk about no shame 😑

Nicholas Jackson out for two months for Chelsea too. Not that he’s brilliant but have they got anyone else to lead the line? (Am not watching, we’re on season 21/28 of Silent Witness )
