The best “footballing” goalkeeper I’ve seen this season is Kepa Arrizabalaga… currently on loan at <checks notes> FUCKING BOURNEMOUTH!!…. He’s 30 and he signed an extension to his Chelsea contract last summer and it runs out at the end of next season. I don’t think there’s a chance we’d bring someone of his profile in even on loan. He’s doesn’t make a lot of mistakes and he often plays at the edge of his own area when his team have possession, pushing the whole team 5-10 yards further up the pitch. Fuck knows what Trafford is like this season but it looked like he had a lot to learn last season. If we get Europa League I’d let Pope and Dubs go and bring them both in..
