According to cwarr07, Newcastle expect Nzogbia deal to go through this week and according to Mar Douglas, a higher bid has gone in for Erdinc (although I do believe either Cwarr07 or the other ITK said exactly the same last week). Regardless who said what, it would be nice to get those two in and then see what happens once Enrique goes. Ie will there be more incomings from his fee.

I agree tbf. Theres a whole area of learning that goes on Im sure when you are training all week to play in a competitive league other than just be in a reserve squad. And even though the leagues are poorer, learning how to convert goalscoring chances in real games under pressure and the confidence that breeds can only be good. I also think if you can work your way around the bully boy tactics of the lower leagues it will harden them up.

When its really dull on here I go and have a read on Newcastle online. I do think the bitchiness on here is strangling the place and those who like Toontastic should take notice of the members the other day saying that they would post a lot more if it wasnt for the fear of being told they were idiots or getting shot down over their opinion. I am sure there are lots of lurkers who could make the place more interesting that feel the same way. As Happy says, this then leaves the same core having the same discussions with the same opinions. Well got invited to our best friends tonight to see them try and assemble a borrowed Vango something 8 man tent. Our job was to sit in comfy chairs, crack a few beers and watch. The assembling was bad enough before they discovered it wasnt a sewn in ground sheet at which point the wife of my mate went livid. It was all heading towards a no camping show when I stepped in and showed them the video of the outwell Toronto at Argos. They suggested I go and pick up my reserved order which we did. As per the video it was up in 15 minutes and was superb. Queue my mate forking out £179. Well worth the money though if his family enjoy their first proper camping trip.

I don't buy that. Our squad is no bigger than last season and we're shod of Campell and Nolan's hefty wages in addition to Carroll's. The total for the three new players may exceed that, but only marginally if it was the case. you can't say that man, you'll spoil the summer for CT, Deano, jaysouthernmag and Toonpack, all wanking away there in expectation of aiming for the dizzy heights of 10th place, as stated by Dekka Wont spoil it for me wanker, I will look at what we have when the season starts and judge then Plus 1

I think regrets are generally a waste of time because I always believe a different path trodden on a particular day could have ripple effects throughout the rest of your life..... But if I could go back to one thing it would be seeing Queen at St James.

Dear Tom / Mods I noticed from the twitter thread that we said we would stick all the Cwarr07 stuff in the twitter thread so that those who wanted to gossip etc could look at it there without offending posters who didnt want to view it. However in fairness there are lots of things that can be discussed in the twitter thread to do with twitter and I feel the problem will just repeat itself.
