It's a piece of cake and doesn't require any forum downtime. Also, as smilies are generally small (in terms of k) it should only take a matter of minutes to upload them. Configuring the forum to use the new ones, depending on how you do it, should take no longer than 5 - 10 mins. Oh and Gemmill If you've got FTP access to the forum, you can use an FTP client (e.g. WS_FTP) to simply drag and drop them in the correct directory on the server. It's what I do for here... Yeah that's what I meant when I said about uploading them. Is the latest version of WS_FTP any good? Last time I used it, I thought it was a pile of balls so I switched to SmartFTP.[/nerd_speak]

Just did that and now have a lovely 25% discount for 12 months I was offered half price but only for 3 months. I'm doing something similar with NTL for broadband. They can't for the life of them understand why I haven't transferred to their broadband service from dial-up. They are evidently keen to switch off the dial-up and are offering incentives in order to do so. The latest offer from them is 2meg broadband at £7.99 a month for the next 3 years (before it reverts to it's standard price). I'm waiting til they drop that to a fiver and then I'll sign up! Hmm.. wonder if they'll offer me any discount if I threaten to cancel.

Life sucks big style tbqf. Fiancee left me a few months ago, finances are a complete mess. Found out last night that I can't remortgage because I've too much debt in my name (as I was a stupid fool and took out a couple of loans for her!). So I'm left hoping she'll do the honourable thing and transfer them to her name. Oh... and there's a big role reschuffle going on at work so I could end up out of a job!
