Kevin Keegan Resigns as manager
Kevin Carr's Gloves replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
Bollocks. He stood up for his principles, and I bet he's fucking gutted tonight just like the rest of us. Could you stomach Dennis Wise telling you who you're getting as your next signing, cos I fucking couldn't. And have those signings been so bad? -

I am aqngry at everyone for this. Especially Keegan. Could he not just learn to live with the new system which I am sorry but seemed to be working other than denting Keegans vanity. Or could Ashley not just re worj his fucking boardroom fo rthe well being of the club. Edited due to sounding gay. -

Been reading the da vinci code recently Robert? naaa - never read it - rip off of "holy Blood Holy Grail " anyway whatever the judge reckoned started reading about OD when looking at fascism in Spain And at least one of them is in the government. The Da Vinci code is so badly researched it is unbelievable. Check out the bit where they discuss army chevrons.

I have purposely not posted on this as I wanted to take in all of the info digest it and then comment. The way I see it Keegan has been seething for quite some time that he was asked to come back under this system but has not wanted to lose the job again. Things came to a head when players he (wrongly in my opinion) wanted to keep like Barton and Milner were being touted for sale. He has changed his mind and been ready to quit. Ashley and the others have seen the backlash of allowing this to happen and have stopped him for now. They have a vision of this club being run correctly not at a loss and with player movements in and out being made by heads and not hearts. Unfortunatley KK is a hearts man. They are now sitting down and trying to resolve their differences to make this work without either losing too much. I hope KK stays until the end of his contract. i hope a year before the end of his contract the board start contacting people covertly about a replacement. I do not apportion blame to any one person as so many on here have done without knowing all of the facts. -
This is shit not one of the useless cunts deserves to be playing. They should all have the shit punched out of them.

I wish to complain mine was locked well before this.

Crap. Could really do without the divine righters having an owner richer than Comrade Rom.

Very happy alex, the only reservations i have, are with Ferdinand and Healy,Healy`s cover for Chopra no doubt. Tianio`s the one player that people underestimate, very good DM.there was no way on Gods earth we could atract the top players, the ones we`ve signed will take us to the next level, mid table, decent enough concidering our recent history. Healy's more than decent cover imo. I've never rated Ferdinand though. The rest will do well for you I reckon. My sentiments excactly mate,we`ll see though,Im not getting carried away,it looks like a good mid table squad. Sorry to but in on a conversation but do you not think it is a little expensive for a mid table squad? -
I think we definitely need one before the weekend.
-
Hope so, as without Milner we're getting ever thinner. Still not as thin as we got when we sold Micky Quinn.
-
Too many people leaving. Not nearly enough people coming. Still blaming Milner he is paid more than enough to class himself a rich man. But Ashley and the boys seem to have all the urgency of a Sloth on valium. This is not good enough. I have backed Ashley all summer but I now feel he is currently not doing a good enough job!!
-
My take is that he has asked for a transfer request to use as leverage on my club. He is using Keegans reputation as brinkmanship in his game of ego massage. i would like to see him get sold for 9 million plus then do a Dyer in his first few games for his new club.
-
Only because he's still on what Taylor was on before his recent hike, and will be until 2011 unless Newcastle show some willing to reflect his growth as a player. He's clearly worth more than Taylor. He signed a 4 year contract last year which he was obviously happy with then. He can fuck off further if this is just a ploy to get more cash.
-
Fucking get in. Come on Liege too!!
-
Seems unfair to associate Owen with those 3 when he's always performed when able to play. Do they understand that Milner has requested a transfer. NUFC have not touted him around or looked to sell him the twat has said he wants to leave.

In your lifetime was not the ask. And you lose for picking Beckham. No one can give a fair assessment of how good people were when they weren't even born when they were playing. It's idiotic to do that imo. It's incredible how many wanks are influenced by what's popular to think, "Beckham is shite", well they're all wanks. Beckham is a fuckin fantastic player or was, and the best Right winger England's had imo in my era. Gerrard and Scholes are better players, as is John Barnes but they've never done it for England as much as Beckham. Bollocks. With research it is easy to assess the qualities of players from many different eras. It is also not popular to think "Beckham is shite" in fact the opposite Beckham's popularity is still huge. However he was and is a one trick pony who if studied correctly would have been and was easy to shut down. Ask his Real team mate Roberto Carlos and see what he said about him before he joined Real. Like Sun Tzu said "if you know your enemy as well as you know yourself you will never be defeated" well Beckham is so one footed it is unbelievable which is shown perfectly in his pathetic attempts to put a penalty anywhere other than straight down the middle or to the goalkeepers right.

I know it has been done to death but I am at work and well bored. Mine is Gordon Banks Viv Anderson Bobby Moore Jack Charlton Stuart Pearce Stanley Matthew Paul Gascoine Bryan Robson Chris Waddle Peter Beardsley Alan Shearer yes i am biased towards the north east but I think it is justified in these picks. So show me yours.
