put it this way, torres ids the best centre forward in the league. ronaldo is the best wide forward in the league. both so far would get in to my european top XI. no doubting that.

with us he'get the chance to be paid what he wants and will probably be our leading scorer. he'd of course get that at any other club, but for some reason i really do just think he's better off here.

a decent winger doesn't need outstanding pace if he can't deliver the ball ( franz carr/ toney daley) i'd rather have someone more reliable that can pick the pass/ cross.... and also improve our set plays.... no disrespect but bentley has proved he's a good footballer and can deliver (unlike milner) one or 2 matchwinning crosses per game. if we were to go 4 - 4 - 2 he would make sense on the right and would be the best player in that position we have here. if we have the money we should attempt to get him...

Both struggled not just with the physical side but the speed of the prem.... also sweepers don't really work in the premiership. rozenhal was a sweeper first and definitely a centre back second...

on current form about 4.5k and playing for a championship team is all he's good for...
