  1. I see Gayle played for West Brom today, that was a quick intro.
  2. NO, he doesn't deserve to die, well at least not yet, but I do think he ought to fade away into the sunset and set us free from his dilly-dallying cheapskate persona.
  3. In my opinion, Rafa should reconcile himself to the fact that things are not likely to change. If any other players are brought in, fine … but if not then he should make do with the squad he has, do the best he can, see out his contract, then walk away. He should not let the indignities that Ashley has deluged him with force him to quit. If he is offered a new contract, he should be damned sure it is one that suits him, and cannot be violated or reneged upon in any way. Any promise of money to buy new players should be backed up immediately with hard cash in an untouchable account set for that purpose. Any promises should be backed up with documentation, not verbal say-sos which are too easily broken.
  4. Just finished watching the match courtesy of Braga via the Chronicle. No sign of Shelvey? The 4 - 0 score doesn't give a true picture of the game. We looked pretty decent in the first half, there were chances to score, Perez missed a sitter, we just don't have that cutting edge. to put the chances away, Changes didn't help matters, introduction of Joselu, Manquilla, and Darlow, didn't help the cause.
  5. Will we be losing our South Korean to the Asian games middle of August?
  6. It's Tuesday here, wot part of the world are you in?
  7. Delighted to get 22m for Mitro, but actually sad to see him go, I liked him. If he scores a bundle for Fulham in the Premier League I'm sure there'll be questions asked.
  8. Setmestraightwillyelike. I keep reading about 22m for Mitro? Just talked to a mate in Kenton who follows Newcastle and he said it was 10m that was been talked about, not 22m. Wots right?
  9. Injury to Lejeune would/should dampen the rumours about Lascelles …….but then again, if the price is right who can tell in this camp.
  10. All well and good, she's a Newcastle supporter, but I saw a video when she had her say-so in the Commons and the place was practically empty. It may not do any good but she's on our side about Ashley, bless her.
  11. Appears Brighton have signed their 8th player, an Iranian world cup player. He's a striker and that's at least 3 strikers Hughton has signed so far. Heads up Rafa.
  12. Appears Fulham have signed German world cup winner Schurrle on loan so maybe that will cool the Mitro saga. Heads up Rafa.
  13. .Former keeper Mike Mahoney recently joined the coaching staff of 'Bristol Manor Farm Football Club'.
  14. I believe, and I hope I am totally wrong, but …………………………………. I don't see us spending big money. I don't see us bringing in a marquis player. I don't see Rafa getting what or who he wants. I don't see us matching the likes of West Ham who I think have already brought in 7 new players. I do see us getting wannaway players from relegated teams. (already have one from Swansea) I do see us getting free transfer players if the wages and terms are acceptable. I do see us getting loan players if the terms are acceptable. (already have one from Chelsea) And in reality it's a bit stupid to say we've signed 3 new players. Dubravka & Kenedy both played for us last season so you can hardly say they're new. The South Korean is the only new face so far.
  15. In retrospect, I think that if Southgate had been bold and audacious, and made changes at half-time or shortly thereafter, we might have made it to the final. Half-Time; Rose in for Young, Young wasn't having as good a game as he had been in the others. Rashford in for Sterling. Sterling was not producing any end product. 55 Minutes; Cheek in for Dele Ali. Ali was not up to par, hadn't been throughout the tournament. 60 Minutes; Vardy in for Kane. Kane seemed off the boil and not posing much of a threat which might have been lack of service. Lingard? not sure who to replace him with but he was a bit anonymous at times. This should not be construed as negativity towards Southgate but I do believe he should have made earlier changes in order to change the way the game was developing in the second half.
  16. I have to place a lot of blame on Southgate for his persistence in starting Sterling, Dele Ali, and Lingard. Also blame him for not making changes when it was obvious the tide had turned against us and as manager he needed to change the game. Game should have been put to bed in the first half. Ah well, hopes dashed again, might not be around for the next one, my sell-by, best-by dates are long gone, only the expiration date is viable.
  17. I think the use of Ashley's name in this manner is totally disrespectful to the lying fat cunts that can be found lying in their beds in Port Said, Hamburg, Amsterdam and many other places.
  18. On google checking, Rondon's league scoring record with West Brom stands at ……... Played 34 - goals 9 - 15-16 season. Played 37 - goals 8 - 16-17 season. Played 37 - goals 7 - 17-18 season. Looks like a downward trend, and certainly not as prolific as needed.
  19. Epiphany is correctly used, check it out amigo.
  20. England strike force of Kane & Sterling were brilliant at putting inferior Sweden in disarray. England's midfield, led by Henderson, were creative and brimming with flair throughout. England's defense were the epiphany of domination and control in quelling inferior Sweden's efforts. England's keeper was faultless and magically magnificent in holding the fort. There, happy now? ……...probably not as the slaggers will always find fault with my critique anyway no matter what I write.
  21. Brazil were by far the better team but that in itself doesn't win games, you have to score more than the other team, and they didn't. Full credit to Belgium for hanging in against the onslaught.
  22. Mebbe tea an' opium an' other stuff, but nee tattoos anywhere on me body.
