Would we have been in this shit state under Allardyce?
peasepud replied to RlCO's topic in Newcastle Forum
I think the one thing we all can be certain on is that KK had backing, you me and the gatepost know that KK wouldnt have agreed to come without some serious guarantees of cash. The reason he didnt buy is, he didnt know who to buy (or for that matter who to sell). He'd been out of football for 3 years, by his own admission he hadnt even bothered watching it. Players big three years ago are nobodies now. Obvious he was told he had backing. Will they come up with the goods though. Clubs have a lot more money. Its no good Ashley and Mort allowing Keegan to spend 20-25m quid when clubs smaller than us ie the likes of Blackburn doing the same, nor is it any good our close rivals ie Villa, Spurs [assuming we stay up and set our target out to catch these teams at least] spending more or even the same. We have to capitalise on our fanbase, which is bigger than those clubs, otherwise we may as well just go home. I think we can all speculate but its fairly good bet that Ashley will give over the cash, like he says, he bought the club to win something and every fan knows you cant do that without spending hard cash. Personally, Im happy to believe that side of things wont be a problem. Even if he lied on that and bought us as an investment, hes going to get fuck all back for his outlay now without getting us up/ back into the Prem. -
That explains why we havent won the league for a good while then I dont necessarily see running the club from London as a problem, this is the digital age after all, video conferencing and that interweb thingy all allow you to do business from anywhere. I believe the chairman should be based in SJP but after that who cares.

If you can drive and can afford it then hire a car, after all the country can be travelled top to bottom in a day, grab a car and drive up the east side, taking in the likes of York, Durham, toon and then scotland (via the coastal route). Go to Edinburgh then across to Glasgow, Loch Lomond and the likes before travelling back down through the Lake District and onto Liverpool (it is city of culture after all). The down into Stratford (Shakespeare country), Worcester, a lttle bot of Wales and then Cornwall for the surfing and barbies on the beach mate. Oh and dont forget Stoke and Telford on the way down just to bring you back down to earth

from where? would be handy start like! If you're going to spend a week or so in the UK then dont waste it on London, get out and about, up here and see the proper sights, Northumberland coastline, countryside, Bamburgh, Scotland and of course at least 2 nights here in toon. Outside of the UK I love Italy, fantastic place.

Have a good clearup of programs but make sure they're removed properly and not just by deleting the files in Explorer. Add/Remove programs from the Control Panel or find the uninstall file and use that. If hes never cleared his cache and temporary internet files then that could take up a fair bit space as well. Oh and then rull a full defragment of the HD.

sometimes he deserves it, Ive not been on RAWK for a while but Im guessing they're laughing their little scouse tits off at that comparison.

Stone cold stats right there. PM me your address and I'll post you the page from the paper, I've still got it. it's not about the "stats" you plank and if you don't understand what it is about then I can't be bothered to further discuss it with you. tbh I dont understand what its about. It should be all about the stats, it will be interesting to see how much we dont care about those 2 or 3 extra points we may have had under Allardyce at 4:45 on the 11th May. -

it appears I'm the only one here who actually agrees with Rico. This club is fucked and yet nobody seems to recognise the fact, KK has come in and instead of improvement we see decline, results were bad under SA however they're abysmal under KK. We were building a set up behind the scenes with the most upto date sports science yet theres no mention now about any of that. We were a mid table team with ideas above our station now were a championship side who believe we are about to win the league. As fans we're blinkered to the fact its KK. The great messiah, the one to lead us wherever we desire (as long as we prefer Blackpool to Barcelona). Its time to face facts, he is not a messiah, he does not know what hes doing and he will be away when things are beyond repair. If this had been any other manager we would all be collectively shitting ourselves now, the boards would be full of "sack him" and "x is shite" threads but its not, its KK therefore what we get is "give him time", "let him get on with it", and "we think Smith is shite but KK rates him so we must be wrong" sort of posts. Keegan is making the same bollocks decisions as SA did, playing players out of position, woeful substitution strategy and a ridiculous belief that Joey Barton is somehow a footballer. The difference is that with hindsight I believe SA has enough knowledge and tactical nous to have changed it round by now. What players would he have bought in January? Allegedly, thats why he went when he did, because he demanded money to buy. He may have turned it round but I'd be willing to bet that no matter what we wouldnt be hanging from the single finger we are now. At the end of the day, maybe Leazes was right all along, maybe changing ownership wasnt all it was cracked up to be, Im loathe to believe that fat boy would have made such a glaring heart over head error. -
Speaking personally I see Keegan's job as being to make me fall in love with football again - if he gets us going in the right direction with a few good players that's a start - then we can build on it. Ahhh so hes using reverse psychology then

*hurries away to set up Mickyowen, AussieViduka and AlanImafookinlegendSmith accounts to chat with Stevie

Revenge for denying her grandchildren or vice versa? She didn't know at the time (or did but was in a seriously well-crafted state of denial). Although thinking about it, she did sell it to some family friends for their son with whom I'd had a bit of how's-your-father a few years previously, so there could have been an interesting bargaining chip/blackmail tool in there if I'd been a bit more savvy at the time. Though I'm not sure how exactly. Oh well, it was only a fucking Clio. I await SMO stepping in with "Renault Clio, me mam bought it off some family friends" As for me, I bought a Morris Minor (hand painted in some dodgy purpley blue) which was made the same year as I was born! bag of shite but solid motor although you could open the locked doors using a penny!

if we go down it'll be because you were too tight to pay your subscription, Ashley therefore didnt have enough money to buy new players and we're shit because of it. twat

Never a truer word said tbh, we dont deserve him. We deserve a player whos going to score us at least a few goals and have a go at keeping us up. -
You'll love it next season then Micky, nowt more fun than a trip to Blackpool on a wet Wednesday in November.
-
If you have problems getting tickets (unlikely at the mo like ) then give me a shout.
-
well Ive never heard any of your stuff but thats another point in your favour.
-
exactly..... nae offence Stevie
-
Still disagree that, Arsenal at home was the best performance I'd say.
-
I have 50 on Boro Arsenal WBA n Barca. Come On Boro Im sorry like, but I could never bring myself to shout for them twats, especially not at such a crucial point of a shite season. Plastic Geordie tbh

£550 I think and you got all home cup games for this and next season free (which so far works out at one Stoke ticket!) Depends where you sit. Mine was £350...or whatever the cheap seats cost these days. £350??? where do you sit?

Aye but was it this years, last years or the one from Barnsley at home?
