1. He probably would. Someone should tell him Eriksson will be there to watch him.
2. Agree. The constant digs at Robson are quite tedious too.
3. This is ridiculous, it's Woodgate all over again.
4. I think Shearer will start judging from his and Souness' comments in the Chronicle this week.
5. From what I've seen of him, Luque is more of a striker than a left winger. Having said that, I expect Souness to play him on the left as long as Shearer and Owen are both fit. I guess he will only play Luque up front if either Shearer or Owen are missing.

fuck off

What does that have to do with anything? The recent Robson bashing from some people (NUFC.com included) is pathetic.
7. I agree that Solano has yet to find his form, but from what I've seen it looks like his instructions are to drift inside more than usual, I thought that was especially the case at West Brom. I think he'll definitely get better once Carr returns to the team as well. As for Dyer, I hope he'll be fit again soon, but I wouldn't play him on the right wing.
8. Let's just hope Owen will be fit again for the Everton game.
9. Phillips scores against Sunderland
10. Here we go again. Bramble is a fucking clown.
11. Fucking hell, this is so annoying. No doubt we'll be told that he'll be "back for the next game" again...

Emre

Not so neutral! 57489 Huggel should get a lifetime ban for sheer stupidity... 57490 Isegrim, what do you make of Magnin? He's been linked with us in a couple of Swiss papers and I'm not too sure myself. He's looked great playing for the national team - very solid defensively, dangerous going forward and his set-pieces are usually very good. I haven't really seen anything of him at Stuttgart though.
13. Well................... 57784 Keane given Ruud goodbye!

Emre

Apparently Stephane Grichting (the player who was taken to hospital after the game) is still in hospital and "badly injured" - the Swiss goalkeeping coach and several other players were punched in the face as well and according to the press, Emre was in the thick of the action. Blatter was on the radio this morning and he mentioned 5-year bans for players who were involved in the clashes - and that would not be limited to international games.
15. Like Chelsea you mean?
16. Bramble is very injury prone though, I don't think he will go ten weeks without missing at least a few matches through injury. It's a blow for us.
17. What he said. We had a first-choice, full-strength midfield and attack on the pitch on Saturday and we never created any chances - and surely that's not just down to Birmingham playing defensively. So yes, we're all very happy with the result, but that's not the point. What people are saying in addition to that is that we won't pick up many more points if performances don't improve soon, and there's nothing wrong with that. To ignore this would be sticking your head in the sand.
18. The fixture list looks worse than I remembered and it certainly puts the last few results into perspective. I really can't see us pick up a lot of points from those games.
19. Can't argue with that. It was virtually a full-strength team, with the exception of Luque, Dyer and a quality right-back. The only thing you could say in defence of Souness is that his players haven't had time to gel yet, but I'm not sure about that. Hopefully he can use the international break to work on that. It was absolutely vital to pick up three points yesterday and it's good to see us go on a little run, but it's worth keeping in mind that it's certainly been a very easy run of games recently and if performances don't improve soon, we won't win too many games between now and Christmas. I hope he plays Luque up front when he gets back - if he doesn't, we need a new striker in January.
20. I didn't see the match, but from what I've seen in the three matches before today, I'm sure we will create a lot more opprtunities from the right once Carr is back in the side. I don't rate him highly, he's an average defender and not too good going forward either, but in terms of attacking options he's an improvement on Ramage.
21. Get in!! I never thought I'd say this, but Lowes and Anderson are even more miserable than Mick Martin. Now Justin Lockwood was bad, but at least Metro's commentary wasn't downright boring.
22. It's a terrible shame and I feel a bit sorry for him too. He showed last weekend just what he can bring to the team - a fully fit and confident Dyer would be a major, major asset. I had a look at the threads over at Newcastle Online and the abuse Dyer is getting there is absolutely shocking. It's an extremely frustrating sitation for the club and the player and I don't see the point in giving Dyer even more stick. Hopefully it's nothing serious (the statement suggests otherwise though) and he'll be back soon.
