I havent managed to use my season ticket since the first week in December due to games being moved and midweek fixtures. I think this was one of about 4 or 5 games left I could go to. Fucking season ticket was more use when we were in the top flight, used to hardly miss a game.

is that the 9700 and is it any good? Hoping to get one through work and wondering how you are finding it. I believe you liked the last bold very much. Its the dogs bollocks. I have an iphone through my work and whilst it is great for apps and as a portable media system I just found myself continuing to use my Bold and use the iphone for the net, listening to music etc. I know more and more people are using iphones through their work for emails etc but I am just so used to the Blackberry keyboard and the touch screen IMO was shit for this. I actually only got it as Orange begged me to stay when I tried to cancel my contract and gave me a HTC Hero for a tenner a month, so I stuck that on ebay and sent my old Bold to Mazuma and picked the Bold 9700 on ebay. The work will still be paying for my iphone, bonus considering all I am going to use it for is to go on the net and play games

It’s about getting out of this division and then getting the quality. How many teams last season that went up have premiership quality strikers? I do realise that but stockpiling on average players when if we have any chance of staying up next season we already need to shift the likes of Butt, Smith etc will mean one hell of reshuffle of the squad. We would have been better off extending the loans we already had and saving the extra pennies to the end of the season then buying "more of the same"

I don't like this system of playing 2 defensive midfield players. Never have. You can see why Keegan liked Guthrie, he is the only forward midfield player we have that looks around him in possession and tries to play the ball around, not a top player mind but has the bit extra about him. Forest and WBA are by far better footballing teams than us. Before the game a draw would have been OK yesterday but having played against 10 men for all the 2nd half and changing the system too late, it is 2 points lost. Guthrie was shite, is shite and less than average even playing in this league, lacks basic skill ......IMHO. Is this all we;ve got to look forward to!? he's the only player we have just now who is prepared to look around when he has the ball, thats the point I'm making, and no I agree he isn't good enough to be a good premiership player so yes it is all we have to look forward to !!! Mike Ashley is not going to show the ambition required for this football club that should be shown and sadly the ambition that a lot of people on here took for granted under the old regime and slated in the end. Wahay!

this and if you are a good judge of a footballer like me it helps too. Stevie in the next post has a corker idea too, covering NUFC like John Gibson and getting presumably well paid for it too. Gibson will be on good wedge, as he's been there an eternity and comes from an age when journalists pay was not a joke. Anybody starting up in journalism should expect to struggle to make ends meet. The above is why I no longer have my dream job. Which opens up the debate, can it be a dream job if you are struggling to pay the bills? Alot of the writers for my magazine are struggling to get a job let alone make ends meet. Its sad as some of those who graduated last year have yet to find any work.

I have just been offered one of the "better than the iphone" HTC Hero things that J69 thinks we are all jealous of through Orange retentions. I have an iphone through work and planned to end my contract with Orange as I wouldnt need the two accounts and thought I would save myself some pennies. I explained when I tried to cancel that it was no use trying to retain me a customer as there was no point to having the extra expense. He then offered me a contract of £10 a month with the HTC Hero, I asked about internet and he explained that would be £5 a month extra to which I told him I wouldnt bother, he then offered me unlimited internet too for the £10. Will probably stick it on ebay as they are going around £280 (play.com want £370), give the sim card with 200 minutes, free texts and free internet to one of my parents which will see me making a nice little £100 for nowt. Result!
