  1. That's what I said - it looks now like the parties under scrutiny may have only involved the little people rather than cabinet members with security but they must still have entrance/exit logs.
  2. I'm smart homed to fuck - had that bug for years and this year I upgraded from x-10 to z-wave. All controlled by a pc and alexa enabled including lights, cameras and all AV equipment. Still need to do my central heating though.
  3. If the stupid twat had sent his u18 team and lost 12-0 they wouldn't have been relegated Typical ex-manc arrogance - now where have we seen that again closer to home?
  4. Maybe she'll get the Marr gig.
  5. The company that bought the Strawberry place land from the FCB has gone tits up. Buying it back for £1 would be pretty sweet.
  6. Cummings has stated lobby journalists were at the covid party. I'd love to seem them put on the spot and asked.
  7. There are a lot of pop/rock bands who I'd group together with them like The Who and The Stones on to stuff like Fleetwood Mac and Springsteen who I think turn out half decent music that just does nothing for me. Maybe it's just not enough guitar up front and centre that's the key for all of them for me.
  8. I recognise their contribution to music but in general can't stand them and never listen to their output.
  9. More draws involving other teams in or near the shit the better - more in it means more to catch.
  10. This Downing St party thing is quite amusing - why would the Met investigate a crime they're 100% complicit it? They must have entrance logs as well as security detail shift details so I'm guessing it was fully authorised at the top. The quote about not investigating retrospective crimes is so wonderfully stupid it must emanate directly from Cressida "he vaulted the barriers" Dick.
  11. Shocked it wasn't disallowed tbh - don't think it should have been but still shocked.
  12. Same here - complete with best Xmas jumper vote using teams. Fucking tragic is correct.
  13. Same here. As opposed to AH, I never knew anyone sat.
  14. Prime on my TV is behind the action - saw the posts saying it was a pen before it had been given then put my phone down thinking he'd miss - thank fuck I was wrong.
  15. Should add our Xmas do which I declined has been postponed to the new year.
  16. We've now being told to take an LFT every time we go to the office. Our senior boss has told us this morning he's happy for us not to come in if we're uncomfortable doing so.
  17. Cooper may be competent but she's also more than happy to go down the Patel Road on immigration. If/when the tories replace the clown with Sunak and there's not even a piece of A4 between the parties on policy I can't see a way to get enough of a poll gap to win.
  18. From a pure defensive improvement pov we need Fernandez, Dummet and sadly Manquillo as best of a bad bunch.
  19. Lad in our team at work who's South African is reluctant rather than anti - he's had one dose and was talking of having his second last week. I had a mild go at him which he was fine with but his Xmas plans are now down the shitter as he was going to go home but would now need full quarantine on return. Worst thing was he was worried about telling his brother he was vaccinated as he's full anti - I told him he needed to think selfishly from that angle while being selfless in the bigger picture.
  20. I read that her remarks mainly related to its effects on young, healthy people which would apply for other variants too. A more infectious variant which becomes dominant but is milder would be a decent way out of this but I don't hold out that much hope yet.
  21. Javid really is a snivelling little shit - claiming working from home costs too much in economic and mental health terms - usual lack of proof of course.
  22. I did but I'm keeping it on ice till its finished as I can't be arsed with watching things I really like week to week anymore. It does look promising from what I've seen of the trailers.
  23. Stating the bleeding obvious that the defence is shit is fine but there aren't enough questions as to why our best defender isn't in the match day squad.
  24. We've moved to going to the office two days a week and I confess to finding it tough - without wanting extra suffering I hope they mandate home working again soon.
